Does the main job of course but probably better options for less than $50 more. After this purchase, we moved and bought a house with the SAME model in it. The second one in the new house has a display issue where the first digit blinks incessantly. Looking to cough up $250 just to stop the small nuissance in the kitchen. Would definitely not buy again.

After a lot of research, I’m glad we chose this one! Super easy installation, took about an hour with 2 people. Has worked perfectly so far and we’ve had it for about 2-3 weeks!

The only downfall is when you cook on the range, anything that puts out steam gets in the door glass even with the fan running, it does dissipate after a bit, not sure if this is intentional to the design.

Got it home and saw that it was missing the glass spin tray. Best Buy was apologetic of the missing piece and provided an additional refund discount. This unit was bought to replace a higher end broken Frigidaire microwave model. It fit exactly in the same spot with the same mounting mechanics as the old unit. That greatly simplified the install above our stove. The unit works as expected and fits right into our kitchen decor. Can't even tell its a replacement lower end model. Functionally, the unit has been working great so far.

Instead of measuring, guy drilled two big holes in cabinet above for power cord above allowing wood to to fall into holes at top of microwave creating fire hazard, that necessitated replacement 2nd time

Pain to install (was replacement unit) of course layout totally different than previous unit, just more cutting and hole drilling. Poor cabinet!
