A very nice surprise present that was well received. Perfect color match being in red instead of plain black. Works well for making extra smaller ice better for drinks than typical automatic fridge/freezer dispensers that make the large sharp boat shaped ice. And a lot faster too.

This might not be an essential kitchen appliance to have, but I’m someone who loves ice with my drinks. This ice machine produces cool looking ice which is exactly the size I like with my drinks. It’s the easiest machine to use and it makes ice in just a few minutes. No more filling up ice trays and walking steady to the freezer with chunky ice that pushes my beverage out of my mouth and causes me to drop a little on my shirt. Would definitely recommend if you are an ice lover like me.

We got it for my wife and man it's a lot bigger than i expected! When it makes the ice, however, expect to be getting up and take the ice out periodically because the ice basket isn't as big as the machine lol. I do like that you can pick from smaller pieces to larger pieces of ice. It's as basic as it can get! Super easy to use.

The machine I have drops new ice every 10 minutes. Large enough water basin. The ice basket within the machine holds quite a lot of new ice before it has to be emptied. Some reviews I read before I purchased my machine was that it is loud. Yes, the fan can be heard while it is in the process of actually making the ice. Then you can hear when the fan stops while it dumps the new ice, then cycles back on. For me, that is ideal. For when I do not hear that click and restart, I to go look to see if the ice bin is full. The one drawback I have is, because the inside of the machine is not cooled in any way, the ice is wet as it sits in the basket. Once that wet ice goes into the ice bin in the freezer, they tend to freeze together. I give it a few minutes in the freezers for the freezing air to "dry" the ice, then give it a stir to separate the cubes. Other than that one drawback, I love my machine. I have medical issues with my hands. Using old ice trays meant I had lots of trouble twisting trays to break the ice free. I no longer have that issue.

Excellent ice production. The appearance is beautiful. The smell of plastic is very noticeable, at first, then it goes away.

Makes ice great. Is a bit noisy. We have had it for about a yesr now.. it has been showing errors or no water, when it is full of water. I have cleaned it well 3 times. It still gets the error. It will also say the ice bin is full when it is not. These errors began about 3 months ago. So... I will now use my 4 yr extended plan to get it fixed or exchange it. Be aware it is not a horrible ice maker. I really like it. It has just developed a few small issues, but I reset it and it will still make ice. It just stops often.

Late review, had this for a year or two now, but I really love this thing. The fact i can make ice from spring water, juice, or virtually any liquid is crazy. Now, maintenance is annoying, but very simple with how it's setup. Drain it via the plugged hole under the machine, over a sink (recommended not to flip the machine upside down!), And let it make a few batches of ice before use. The first batches are very small, but once u have a good size, make sure to put the ice in the freezer for extra cooling! Yes, you should always make the ice ahead of time and freeze it, not for when u need it immediately.

Perfect size for counter and quickly makes nice sized ice cubes. My son was so excited to not have to use trays anymore

I absolutely love this ice maker. It makes the good nugget ice, in two different sizes. We have a plain fridge that does not have ice/water dispensers so we wanted to get something. Refilling the reservoir once every few days is much easier than remembering to fill ice cube trays every day. I keep it running all day, and the ice melts if it sits in the bin for too long. Overall, the ice holds for a while before it starts melting. Very convenient and we definitely got our money's worth.

So far, so good. Bought this almost a year ago, still going strong. Use it every day, since the icemaker in my fridge never worked. Starts out slow, but steadily makes nice-sized ice cubes (I use the "large" setting) until it runs out of water, then turns itself off. They just need to update the NAME of this particular item--you're getting the RED one in the picture, not the BLACK one in the product name (the black one is actually cheaper, but it wasn't available when I needed it). Highly recommended!

Initially, I bought this because I was tired of our icemaker inside the freezer always being empty, and not able to keep up - so, I was having to supplement with bags of ice from the store, which just makes a big mess and eats up freezer space. We basically have switched over to using this as our primary icemaker, and don't use the built-in one at all. It keeps up with a family of 4 with no problem. 2 of which are ice-chewers. Some of the comments I read before purchasing stated that the machine is loud. I don't find that to be the case, but my 5 year is pretty loud, so maybe everyone's level of what is considered to be "loud" varies lol

Soft ice won’t hurt your teeth. Not brittle like that made in your freezer. Keeps up with your needs for ice chewing. Only downside is machines tend to fail after about 4-5 months. Just buy extended warranty to have it replaced when this happens. I’m on my third machine in just over a year. Yeah it’s a hassle to have it replaced but it’s worth it to have the special ice. It’s that good!!

Bought for my daughter. She has been pleased with how quickly it makes ice. She loves the color. I loved the price.

Great ‘smaller’ appliance. Ice pieces are perfect size and are produced fairly quickly. Everyone of my friends who has seen it in operation, wants one. Normally I would feel this item is completely a luxury purchase to not waste money on; however, I have a family member going through multiple surgeries and needed a sufficient amount of ice. This made all the difference!

The icemaker is a welcome addition to my home. It fits nicely upon my copper ice chest. The ice is great for water and or cocktails. The end less store of ice is great. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a lot of ice for their family and friends.

The refrigerator that I purchased has had problems with the icemaker and I’ve tried to get it fixed but the maker of the refrigerator no longer will be replacing that icemaker so therefore I had to go somewhere else and my son had bought one of these and it does great it can make us for an entire day in just an afternoon.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. He is making ice constantly. It works well and fast and we have had no issues with it. The only problem I had was with the delivery. It came in no box to hide what it was so my husband saw what it was before Christmas.
