At 1 year I am now having a few issues

We have had it for about a yesr now.. it has been showing errors or no water, when it is full of water. I have cleaned it well 3 times. It still gets the error. It will also say the ice bin is full when it is not. These errors began about 3 months ago. So... I will now use my 4 yr extended plan to get it fixed or exchange it. Be aware it is not a horrible ice maker. I really like it. It has just developed a few small issues, but I reset it and it will still make ice. It just stops often.

Posted .i there, valued customer! We're sad to hear that your refrigerator didn't perform as expected. Ice Maker not dispensing enough ice might be because of low usage or a frozen auger. Kindly switch the control panel to CRUSHED and remove the ice bucket. Next, press down on the dispenser paddle for 2-minute intervals (releasing the paddle and then pressing it again) for a total of 3 times (6 minutes total). This will melt and evaporate any ice around the auger motor shaft. After that, switch the Control Panel to CUBE and insert the ice bucket, close the door, and attempt to dispense ice again. If the issue still persists, please contact us at 1-800-374-4432. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST, we'll be happy to assist. - Jessica

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, I bought this because I was tired of our icemaker inside the freezer always being empty, and not able to keep up - so, I was having to supplement with bags of ice from the store, which just makes a big mess and eats up freezer space. We basically have switched over to using this as our primary icemaker, and don't use the built-in one at all. It keeps up with a family of 4 with no problem. 2 of which are ice-chewers. Some of the comments I read before purchasing stated that the machine is loud. I don't find that to be the case, but my 5 year is pretty loud, so maybe everyone's level of what is considered to be "loud" varies lol

Makes ice pretty quickly but is kind of loud. The tray fills quickly but you can empty it out into your freezer to make more. Highly recommend if you do not have any type of ice maker.

It is very noisy unfortunately. Looks good but the ice capacity isnt very big. 2-3 cups worth. Takes up a decent amount of counter space.

First two were Newair which lasted about a year each. Decide to switch brands this time. This Frigidare is a little smaller which is good. But it is very loud compared to others. Would not recommend.
