Loud ice maker

First two were Newair which lasted about a year each. Decide to switch brands this time. This Frigidare is a little smaller which is good. But it is very loud compared to others. Would not recommend.

Tip - to make firmer larger drier ice, use colder water. Allow the first couple of batches of ice to fall into the water reservoir to chill the water.
It is intended that ice produced be periodically transferred to zipper lock bags for storage in a conventional freezer.
