We use it cool a large dining room and kitchen. Great air flow. good direction control. Very quiet for a large AC. Love the remote control. Our only complaint is that every time you turn it on it defaults to the ECON mode, which means the fan shuts off once the room reaches the set temperature. We prefer the fan run all the time. So every time we push the start button on the remote we also push the AC button so the fan will stay on. A small price to pay for a great AC.

Lower is fan speed fairly quiet. Most AC 3 speeds are loud, louder and loudest. Display on unit shows temp setting not actual temp, somewhat of a drawback. Best Buy gave really quick delivery, a real plus since my old AC just failed.

Overall this isn't a bad air conditioner, a couple things to be aware of: Noise level is loud Under powered - I have a 900 sq ft house and it can't keep up on warmer days.

I read the reviews and decided on this unit because it was on sale. The unit feels well made and is lighter than a previous generation Frigidaire AC that was 10,000 BTU. Unfortunately the Eco mode is mostly economical because it makes the AC rarely run. With the AC in Eco mode (which should turn the fan and compressor off once the target temperature is reached) and set to 72, the unit cooled for a while and then turned off. Five feet away my Nest measured the room temperature as 80 deg F. The thermostat never came close to 72 before the AC automatically shut off. After an hour the AC still had not cycled itself to turn the fan on, sample the room temperature, and turn the compressor back on to resume cooling. If left in cooling mode (continuously runs fan and compressor), the AC will cool my living room and small office. I don't know why the Eco mode works so poorly out of the box. Not sure if my unit is defective or has a very poorly calibrated thermometer. Either way I had much higher expectations for a brand new unit, and would not recommend this unit since all of the brands are normally about the same price.

A little loud. Easily cools three rooms. Couldn't have lived without it this summer.

Good price. Keeps our living room/dining room very comfortable during summer. Cost to run is minimal.

Powerful cooling action. Wish I was able to adjust the vents to be able to direct the air in all directions.

Helped cool down two bedrooms and a hallway, easy install. Makes noise but its less than the three fans i had on before.

Installed this unit in a 1100 sq ft apartment and was able to cool the whole place.

It is good window a/c in price & features. But it is a little loud!

So far it works very well . 12,000 BTU blows very cold air and cools off my entire apartment .

Unit was beat up -looked like someone dropped the box -needed to use because of heat Works great -only drawback sounds like a pre1990 747

Does it's job. Not superior or inferior, just does the job it's suppose to for an affordable price.

It was very loud and the back of the unit got VERY hot. I returned it for a portable rolling unit.

This sir conditioner is excellent. Powerful and reliable and good quality. Frigidaire products are all around good quality and reliable which is what you want when spending $350!

Good air conditioner for the price,easy to install,works great.

Overall, we like this air conditioner. The one thing we do not like is it automatically comes on in energy saver mode. This means it goes off when it reaches the temperature setting. We only use this at night so when it goes off, it wakes us up and then again when it comes back on. We have to remember to push the ON button so this does not happen. I think you should be able to "select" energy saver mode if you want it.

I am very happy with this purchase, protection plans are a must for me and the price was reasonable. I decided to look early and so glad I did as we have 90+ degree humid weather for the past 4 days. I found these online open box for $238 what a great deal ! I bought both. They were in almost excellent conditions, some fins a little smashed but just used my bb credit card to open them. They fit in my window PERFECTLY, I had to nothing, it was so easy I am still amazed. This 60 year old house has no central air and my 2 15,000 btu units I can now keep off once the house is cool and use these for the room I am working in. They aren't quite as quiet, I love that all the features, not a thing I could think, is missing, eco mode, which shuts it on and off so the temperature is kept the same, remote, energy star complaint, even a auto mode to control the fan for door opening and closing which the room these are in there is a lot of going in and out. Couldn't be happier and the price was unbeatable. Glad I seen them over a month ago. Shipping was super quick and everything was just so easy peasy,price installation, delivery. 5 Stars hate background noise wish they were a little quieter.
