Keeps the house cool

It was installed securely in one of the windows. It works moderately well given that we're also using fans to circulate air in the target area. The controls both on the unit proper and handheld are pretty intuitive and easy to use. The switch for taking in outside air or limiting the cooling to interior air is rather flimsy. Overall the unit seems to be working satisfactorily, though we wonder about its longer term durability. As such we are beginning to regret that we didn't buy a Friedrich A/C instead. Friedrich A/C's are made of tougher stuff.
