    extremely noisy.. The reviewer who wrote don't plan on watching TV while the AC is on was right on the money. I normally listen to TV at about a level of 10, had to raise it to 60

    My Store sales person, Christian R. was extremely helpful and kind and so I was looking forward due a great purchase experience. Unfortunately the product arrived in severely damaged condition. I couldn't believe my eyes . I rejected the delivery and have not received a refund yet. Needless to say, I lost time because the delivery was later than the promised delivery time and the product was unsuitable, and I was unable to take advantage of the old air conditioner product disposal.

    I purchased Frigidaire - 12,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner Model: FFRE12B3Q in winter as I was remodeling a space and was replacing the AC. Funny thing to buy when it is 33' out. I did the research on how strong to get for my space. I had to put it in an odd space, above a door and the rear of the ac would only hang halfway out of the space because of a gate on outside of door. When installing it noticed there was no drain hole at back of AC unit. Called the Frigidaire hotline to be told it doesn't have one. ?Crazy? This is the customer rep saying it's designed not to have one. A month later on a hot muggy day I have a puddle on my new wood floors. My ac is leaking into my space. There is a hole. It is in the middle center bottom of the unit. Very easy to miss. Called customer service again who said it must be broken. Return it. (not easy thing to do.) Two weeks later, new unit but same thing. Not until someone at BestBuy really listened did I learn I had bought the wrong kind of AC unit. Every person i spoke with I explained the AC sits above a doorway and halfway inside. I learned I should have bought a Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner. No one at BestBuy would own that the sales reps didn't really understand a Through the wall unit was necessary. Now at this point as it was a purchase mistake not broken and past the 30 day return for BestBuy so I was SOL. BestBuy tried to set up an exchange for a Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner but they couldn't due to fact I bought it 3 months before in the winter. BesttBuy's said to contact Frigidaire's again. They are useless. The customer servers reps do not know what they are talking about and refused to help me. One hung up as after I asked her name. She refused to tell me. She said I was yelling she was going to disconnect and disconnected. I work in customer service and know not to yell or swear. She didn't like that I refused to tell her what was going on until she identified how I could refer to her. Unreal. After 2 more calls I gave up. Each person gave a different spin. I finally rigged up a drain like situation with a hose to drain out the water and hoped I could figure out how to solve the situation. It now sweats into the box it is in and makes puddles on my wood floors. If i would have been given the correct information from BestBuy or Frigidaire in beginning, I would have bought the through the window unit or exchanged it for the Throught the wall unit the 1st exchange.

    This airconditioner is extremely too loud. It definately cools any good size large room down that is reccommended for this unit, however, I wouldn't reccommend it to anyone simply based on the loudness of it.

    It worked well and was fairly quiet. We used it for one season. When we went to turn it on the next season, it made a loud whining noise and didn't work. I will no longer buy Frigidaire products.

    This doesn't even cool my 252sq ft room. Air flow really only comes out of the left side for this and my 6,000btu frigidare. You can't feel any air flow from the right vent, until your hand gets 15" from that vent. High sounds like low. It's sad and ridiculous that they say this is energy efficient. I know why...because it doesn't cool your room. And the vents can only move right and left, not up and down like the old ones. Piece of junk, both of them. I have a very old, 5,000btu frigidare that freezes us out of the 12 x 14 living room. It has great air flow, very cold and it's still kicking. Also, it doesn't have any mold like these newer air conditioners get in no time. The newer stuff is garbage, doesn't work well, dies quickly and just fills up landfills. Half of the remotes don't work right and they should just be ashamed. Except for my living room, the rest of the house is 75°, with 3 newer frigidares set on 66, curtains closed, on a sunny, 88° day, with a real feel of 91°. I wouldn't give these things to my worst enemy. Waste of money and junk.
