Stops working on the 16th day

Missed the return period with Bestbuy by 1 day and the manufacturer warranty doesnt cover food lost. One thing for sure... I will no longer buying anything from Beatbuy or Frigidaire. Can't recommend anyone buying from Bestbuy or this freezer.

Shelves adjust easy to configure to your needs. Easy to level by adjusting the feet. I bought this freezer for wife that is a over shopper so we needed this for her so it would be easy to know what we have/need. We had a 5.7 cu.ft. chest freezer that my wife would stuff full and we never new what was in the bottom. This is a game changer for us.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does not match my old but trouble plagued Maytag freezer that touted being made in U.S.A. If made in U.S.A. was supposed to convey quality of components, the Maytag put that myth to rest. While the quality of cabinet, shelves and doorbins exceeds the Frigidaire, the Maytag had to be repaired every two years, failing to defrost despite replacing sensors and electronics controls. The wire shelving in the Frigidaire is thin and bows under normal loads. I can only hope that it lasts more than the seven years that I managed to eke out of the Maytag, weary of losing valuable food and searching for parts that were very expensive and short lived.

Problems with add on services

I was told twice over the phone that switching the door hinges to the other side was INCLUDED in the freezer purchase. It wasn’t! Additional $70 to don that! I had a similar purchase for a large tv. I paid for a delivery service I was told would include unpacking and package removal. Had to pay extra to get that done! I’ve concluded the sales people will tell such lies to make a sale. My advice is to see their add on options IN WRITING before you purchase them! You can’t trust the information provided verbally by the sales people. One told me he would make a note on my account. No such note was made.
