There is an energy saver feature that shuts the unit off when it thinks it needs to. This is nice, except I have mine down to 71 and it still hardly runs. It comes on every 10 min. to check if it should run. It saves money by not running, but I don't think the room is cool enough not to be running. I can override it when I need to.
