It will come on for 30 seconds then go off. Then it comes back on in a minute or so for the time needed to cool the room, It does the job, just not the way I thought it would. Posted .Hello, Seashell. It sounds like you may have your A/C on energy saver mode. On energy saver mode, it will cycle on for 20 seconds at 10-minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor will turn back on. Try running the A/C in cool mode instead. ~ Brandi
