The attic is not very well insulted so the heat from outside seems to radiate in. This little window unit has mad a world of a difference in this room. You can actually get cold at night now.

We use it during the hot summer months in Tuba! It keeps the our small room cooled during the day and night. It is so nice! It has a remote control so you can select any setting you want. Now my daughter wants to purchase one. :)

My Room is Now Cool

I mounted it in my horizontal sliding window, which it stays in well, provided you buy some additional supplies. Why don't they make more ACs compatible with sliding windows? I don't know. However, it's not heavy enough to break my sliding windows and now I have a comfortable bedroom.
