Called willing to negotiate but they insisted not and sent a new freezer . Whole difficult process what do you have to say look before buying at a block and mortar store.

Awful Appliance and Service

It had a damaged box but the installer said it would be fine. It appears to have power but the compressor never worked and it stays at refrigerator temperatures. All our food was ruined and after an hour on the phone with Best Buy we don't have a convenient time for a replacement or any compensation for our spoiled food. Decided just to return it and buy a different model from another store. Won't buy from Best Buy again.

Temporary Freezer

Ironically the 30+ year old frig/freezer in the garage just keeps on running. Crap quality and crap customer service from Frigidaire.

Great Freezer

Lots of space, and the color coordinated baskets make it easy to separate the different types of frozen meat. Runs quiet to the point that we can barely hear it.

Called Best Buy and they replaced it within a week. About a month ago, I opened the door to find everything defrosted. I ended up throwing out a few hundred dollars worth of food. I put a loaf of bread in there and some freeze pops and now they're sometimes frozen and sometimes not. Local appliance tech says that it's the compressor and they cost more to fix than it would to buy a new one. I guess I'm buying a new one and getting the extended warranty but it won't be the same brand.

I did purchase the extended warranty, Unfortunately I will need to use it within the first few months. For being a frost free freezer there is frost in the inside.
