We wanted a garage refrigerator so just needted a plain Jane appliance, no bells and whistles and so far this fits the bill, thus the 3 star rating. You definitely know when the motor is on! Below I'm checking "no" for recommending to a friend only because it's just a plain frig. Wouldn't want it in my kitchen but it's a good enough one for an extra garage one.

We bought this as a secondary fridge for extra storage in our basement. It works great. My only complaint is that the storage bins are small with the back at an angle to accommodate the compressor.
