Best buy installer said that that is normal for this product. This is from the fillling of foam insulation in a thin shell of skin on the fridge. The real problems showed up 4 months after delivery. I noticed the door handle cracking and is about ready to break off, and the magnet part coming out of the door seal. I called Frigidaire and was told that this is not covered under warranty because it is cosmetic and not a functional parts. Upon questioning she said the door seal is damaged by opening the door within 2 minutes of closing the door. So any damage from opening the door too soon(within 2 minutes from closing the door) is not covered under warranty. I also contacted Best Buy and was told to contact manufacturer. Wow! I will not be purchasing another Frigidaire product.

But we have had this fridge for 1.5 months and already the refrigerator part is not cold. At all. We are going to make a service call to have it checked out, but it's a bit frustrating to make a service call and not even having the fridge for a month

The freezer worked fine but the refrigerator would not get cold. I had to replace with a more expensive model. Best Buy took this one back without incidient.

Posted .Hi Kathy, with our new refrigerators they are designed to be more efficient in that they use newer components and run at a consistent speed/temperature for a longer period of time using less energy. If your refrigerator is located in a non-humid and not warm environment and you have set your appliance to the appropriate temperature settings (37ºF for refrigerator and 0ºF for your freezer section) you should notice that it runs at a lower speed for a longer period of time. This is one way it is designed to save on energy. Appliances use more energy when they constantly turn off and on. Our refrigerators are designed to allow the fan components inside to run after the compressor turns on. This allows the internal components to cool and the machine to rest even though you may still hear something running. Hope you find this helpful! -Jennifer

It ran fine for about 30 days and then I noticed the bottom of the unit wasn't cooling. I called the warranty service number, called local repair company and the repairman came out and determined timer was not working causing the freezer to ice over and block flow to the bottom of the unit. He replaced the time and everything is working for now.

We both bought it for a "garage fridge" HORRIBLE idea and refrigerator. We both have the same issues.... No this is not an instant reaction review, this is a I have called and spoke to multiple Frigidaire reps and gone into Best Buy multiple times and everyone has an idea of the issue but no one has the solution. I have de iced the unit 10 times. It does not chill anything in the refrigerator and makes ice in the ice machineless freezer..... Super frustrated with the purchase and the customer service from both Best Buy and Frigidaire!
