I make my own ice and drink bottled water so those options weren’t important to me. It has a simple look and the colors fit perfect with the rest of my appliances.

I received a frantic call from the renters to learn that there was a massive amount of smoke coming from inside the fridge. The fire department determined that it came as a result of the light bulb (which doesn't have a cover), causing the egg carton inside the fridge to go up in smoke! This egg carton was in the back left hand corner of the fridge, not touching the light bulb in any way. I asked Frigidaire to at least send somebody to inspect the unit and they told me I could do so at my own cost and that it was the fault of the renter for leaving the door open. Am I off-base when I say that items inside a fridge should not go up in flames simply because a door is accidentally left open? Hope nobody dies.

Basic Fridge Arrived With Defective Door

Now I have to wait till Friday for a technician to review the defect. Very inconvenient.

Freezer part never worked

One in Feb 2018 and one in Sept 2018. Both were in use. The one we purchased in Feb 2018 quite working 1 month ago (in use for 18 months). It is outside the warranty. Had a repairman look at it and said it would cost more to fix than to buy a new one. $500 down the drain. I was hoping to get at least 5 years out of it. I have to replace it and I'm going to look at another brand.
