Your Precision Direct Wash System dishwasher uses energy-efficient motors for the wash and drain portions of the cycle you select. Each cycle has a series of water fills and drains for washing and rinsing dishes. As each cycle begins, you may or may not hear the drain motor. The next sound you will hear is the splashing water as it enters the tub. Then the lower arm rotates and circulates water. This is followed by a pause and a slightly different sound as the upper arms spray water. If you listen closely, you will hear the change in sound as the wash action switches from one arm to the other. These sounds are normal.

Make sure you do your research before buying a replacement dishwasher.

We run it after hours when no one is working because it is quite load. Otherwise, dishes are clean and everything else works great. Good value for the price point.

I recommend checking and/or trying the following: 1-Does the unit appear loud during the beginning, middle, or end of the cycle? 2-Make sure that the spray arm(s) are not hitting the dishes and are free to spin freely. 3-Make sure that there is no obstruction stuck in the wash or drain motor. I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater.
