A call to CS provided no answers as to why this was shipped I this condition, said that the power cord should be attached to unit. Wil not patronize this manufacturer in the future.

Posted .NIKK, I hate hearing that you feel this way. This dishwasher appears to be a hard-wired install only. I recommend you review your installation guide to perform a proper installation. It also appears that the drain hose and connectors are included with your purchase.
