Easy to install and functions great to cool larger bedrooms during the summer months.

I used this in my apartment living room (14'x15') last summer. It could get rid of the humidity and get the temp down to mid 70's. Quieter than older models. If you need cooler temps, you may want to get higher BTU's. Remote normally displays temp in room instead of temp setting until you adjust temp. Good for a bedroom.

Dreading another year of sleeping in an inferno that is my room during summer time, I went in search for the perfect AC to ventilate and cool down my room. I did a lot of research prior on the type of AC I wanted as well as read many reviews and I decided on this Frigidaire Window AC. I have a horizontal sliding window so after youtubing how to setup this AC, it worked perfectly. It is not too huge, bulky and heavy which is great. It is very easy to use and it comes with a remote control to change mode, fan, temperature, sleep settings and turn off. The eco mode is perfect for using at night since it turns off on its own when it reaches a certain temperature and turns back on when temp rises. It is a bit noisy, but it is not too disturbing to not let my partner and I sleep at night. I have been using it for a month and it has not given me any issues. Also, pg&e bill was only a few dollars more ($6-8) than the average bill I receive and I have been using it every day for at least 8 hrs. The eco setting for sure has something to do with low energy cost :)

The AC works great. Cools the bedroom well. I got it installed and secured to the window frame and that’s when I tried to turn it on with the remote. Nothing. Tried swapping the batteries but nothing. Couldn’t bring myself to take it out of the window and box it up to swap it at the store, so if a remote is important to you, make sure it works before you install it!

Not too loud, but reasonable at higher fan settings. Remote gets the job done. Unit looks pretty sleek
