Stay away, Not working properly

Don't know if I got a defective unit but, it doesn't do half the cooling as my 3 year old Artic King. Not only does it NOT cool properly but, sometimes it "spits" out droplets of water out through the vents. Not happy at all, should've returned it when I had the chance. (It's been 20 days as of the writing of this review).

Good AC for a smaller size bedroom

(60 degrees) at cool on high. Room never cooled off but instead got hotter. Room temp. after 4 hours of use was 92 degrees! Terrible air coditioner. Only possitive is the unit is quiet.

I recommend making sure that the A/C is the correct size for the area that you're cooling and all windows and curtains are closed to reduce the amount of heat that enters the environment. In this case, you get what you pay for. I'm only trying to cool off one room for the most part, but this AC struggles to do that while at max settings. Wish I'd stepped it up a rung or two when purchasing.

It seems to take quite a while to put out even cool air. Checked filter and outside to see if airflow was being restricted, but no apparent reason for poor performance. Lesson learned!

Posted .Sorry to hear you are not keeping cool, George. This model is designed for 250 sq. ft. or less. Try running it on cool mode with a high fan speed. It may take a few hours to completely cool a very warm room. The air exiting the appliance is generally 17-20 degrees cooler than the intake air. ~ Brandi

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this for 3 month bought 6/5/19 and for couple weeks a bad smell has been coming out of the unit thought was something in room painted my room and now it smelt like the musky sock smell it and I smelled ac vents and sure enough this hole time it’s been my ac unit not very happy my ac unit smells like it’s ten years old I have asthma so this horrible smell makes me feel ill I clean filter every time the light blinks I never let it just sit a week before cleaning it while it’s been blinking I keep up with that kind of stuf I sweep my bedroom room everyday also so idk what issue it it’s not dust issue it’s musky smell don’t buy stay away use ur $239 else where

It was purchased as an Open box item and the remote wasn’t there and you could tell someone already installed it and it wouldn’t blow out cold air. But believe it would have worked if inspected better.

Some tips that can assist with your matter, is to ensure that there are not any items blocking the vents. Restricted air flow can cause the air conditioner to not cool as designed. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. You may need to allow the air conditioner to run for several hours in order to notice a considerable difference, after making adjustments.
