Sorry but I had to return this item. It didn’t even blow cool air out.

Return immediately. This is recommended for small rooms.

Cools room okay but doesn’t make it completely cold.

Great air conditioner that runs quietly and works well. This air condition is a bargain based on the features, reliability, and cost of this product.

The only issue is it will periodically make some random loud noises but other than that it gets the job done! Room stays super cold all through the hot summer months. Definitely recommend for the price!

Frigidaire makes the best window units. I have tried both GE and LG in the past for my above the garage office, and a larger Frigidaire has done the best, by far. I needed a small window AC for an upstairs bedroom while my central unit is being replaced. This unit is very quiet, cools wonderfully, and has great controls and features. This unit has allowed me to postpone my complete unit replacement until the fall.

Bought this "extra" air conditioner for my sons room. We have one in our bed room,but his room gets too hot. Bought this just as the July heat wave started, and installed it in his room at 1pm in the afternoon with the sun shinning on that side of the house. 30 min later room was down right cold. Quieter than my other window unit. Might have to upgrade that one!

Picked up my Frigidaire 6.000 BTU A/C on 4/20 it runs awesome! I'm in the master bedroom and let me tell you it keeps it cold! I shop around on the price and hands down Best Buy was the best @ $179.99 this is my 2nd Frigidaire I got six seasons out of my last one and the way I use it that's not bad for today's A/C I just about live in my bedroom and I run it just about 24/7 My Best Buy sold out (deptford nj) and had to restock them.You can't go wrong with this unit!

Very nice. Quiet, but I have seen quieter ones. Better for a larger room.

The AC works great really cools the room, but when you buy an open-box make sure you check that everything is in there. I made the mistake of not checking, so went ahead and installed it and then I noticed it did not come with the remote control...Best Buy did not help me with that, even after talking to three different customer service reps.

Just installed unit on super hot, muggy day. Installation was manageable. There aren't many parts to deal with. Still, the instruction manual has poor diagrams and could be simpler. Our vinyl clad windows also presented some installation challenges dealing with the louvers.

This has been such a delightful purchase. The unit is quiet and works great. I love the timer too.

bought this for the increased btus and the great reviews, but it can't even cool a 10x15 room. because of how the fan and styrofoam is set up on the inside, the air really only comes out of the right third of the venting up top. the air comes out cooled but almost slightly humid, whereas a frigidaire 150 sq. ft. unit i have comes out super cold from the start, and stays that way. i have to set this unit to 70 degrees in hopes of keeping my 10x15 room around 80 degrees, and most of the time it stays hovering above 80 no matter what. the extra btus (and price) have been pointless, and i've never had a problem of an air conditioner not getting cool enough until buying this one -- with the 3 or 4 i've had before, i'd always have to turn them to higher temperatures because the room would get too cool. that's not a problem with this one, because it can't even keep my room cool. wish i could return it.

Reliable air conditioner... hadve ut for 3 years now

Purchased unit as open box with the designation "Excellent" condition (like new). The back panel fins are clearly damaged and crushed in one area, which I read inhibits air flow. I was out of state and opened the box to install 10 days after return date. Unhappy.

I've owned this for about 2 months. The first 2 weeks, it worked really well. Now it doesn't cool the room any more than a fan would. I have cleaned the filter multiple times, so that is not the problem. It's just a piece of garbage.
