This oven is a great buy for the price. I got it on sale for $419. MUCH cheaper than Sears or Lowes. I have been casually looking for a new range for months and this is the best price on a name brand with so many great features. Add in 18 month financing with my Best Buy card and I couldn't say no. So far I have found it cooks true to temperature. So if your recipe says cook at 450, you can feel confident cooking at 450. You don't need to adjust it, or set it lower/higher, whatever. I hope it lasts 30 years, like the range this one replaced.

stove is good looking, inexpensive and works great!

My perception is this is a good basic range, with a few nice features, is simple to use, clean, get parts for down the road, and looks modern. Frigidaire has improved it's reputation, and it's ranges are highly regarded by leading consumer groups. Having purchased several Frigidaire appliances for rentals over the years, I can say they hold up well, look good, are of lower initial cost, save energy and parts are available for a long time. When compared to Korean brands, be careful, Korean parts are costly, and some components are not reliable, like electronics and switches. This is based on my own experience. I use and recommend regular use of smooth top cleaner like easy-off one step, it cleans and repels stains and soil. A downside to glass tops is they scratch, and pots spin if unheld while stirring, this cleaner makes the glass even slicker. I noticed the oven heats fast and cycles less, also heating the room less during self-cleaning. It bakes evenly, and holds large cookie sheets with room for circulation. Control knobs are easy to grasp and read at a glance too.

I was looking for a glass top to replace our worn out as simple as it gets cheapo "Magic Chef". I picked this up for $439 cheapest at the time with "self cleaning". Have nothing but good to say about it, it has features we dont need but it will cook the heck out of a frozen pizza =P oh yeah and lazagna too and all that stuff. Truthfully the only bad experience with it is that even once it was out of the box I had to take the handle off the front to fit it through the door in our kitchen, but obviously that has nothing to do with the design of the appliance. A wonderful device as far as cheap ranges go, I dont see the need to spend more.

One of the worst purchases that I have made. The oven stopped working after 1 year and 5 months (5 months after the 1 year warranty expired). This is the 2nd Frigidaire stove that i have purchased. The first stove lasted several years, so I was very surprised when this one malfunctioned. I cannot reccomend this brand.anymore.

With kids Silver Mist is the way to go. Gives you stainless look without the constant cleaning of appliances!

Stove is great but that black high gloss smooth stove top is too high maintenance for me. It shows every streak and smudge-and that's after you use the special cleaner !!!! Seems a white/ gray pattern over that glossy black would have been a better design choice for an everyday appliance.

My Frigidaire electric stove required repair 15 days after the one year warranty expired. The heating element on the stove no longer works. As I research how to fix it myself, it turns out this is not uncommon. It seems unreasonable that a stove should not be reliable for more than 13 months. Not impressed with reliability of Frigidaire.

The electric element on the stove top stopped working 15 days after the one year warranty expired. Frigidaire will not cover the cost of repair because it is after the one year warranty period. As I researched the cost of repair vs fixing it myself I learned that this is not an uncommon problem with Frigidaire stoves.

The model in store had a 5th warming element and the oven delivered did not. Also it doesn't cook the top shelve properly if you have something else below. I would definitely not recommend to anyone! Store has been wonderful in getting this corrected and replacing oven since it was not the expected product, they also made sure other customer service employees knew about the error.
