Buyer Beware of Best Buy Customer Service & BB Vis

Then told me it was back ordered till late January. The fridge was deliveried on Dec 4. I asked for it to be fully returned. I verfied I wouldnt see anything on my bill. ( I paid for removal move of my old fridge to my garage and to replace the existing water hose (recommended) 3 days later Best Buy did not refund me back the costs of removal & move of my old fridge back into house and still charged me for the water hose on the broken fridge they installed. I called Visa Best Buy and to intiate a dispute. Just got a letter today they wont compensate the extra charges I occured. $123.27 they left me with, to pay for delivering a broken then back ordered fridge. Best Buy lost my business for good and I'll spread the word, being a hairdresser.

Defective unit, even worse customer service

I had a very poor customer service experience with the return process and was charged fees for the return even though I received a bad unit and was told I would not be charged for the return. I was also charged for parts I never even received. I will never buy from Best Buy or recommend anyone get appliances through them based on my experience. I called at least five times to try to correct the situation (passed around multiple times each time) and no one on the customer service team could route my call to anyone who could help. I understand things can happen with appliances, but the customer should be made whole when this happens, and that was not my experience.

Bad experience with Best Buy

Second fridge is working fingers crossed. I lost a whole fridge worth of food and ended up with a $2300 plumbing bill to repair Damage to valve. Customer service sucked. I opened two property damage complaints and both got rejected. The only reason I know they were rejected is because I called for status. No one called me. Go figure. I will never purchase another item from Best Buy. They lost me as a customer. Expensive lesson learned all the way around. I hope this fridge actually lasts.

Freezer leaks

When I called the company they said I just had to defrost the freezer. After defrosting it began happening again in under a month.

Very disappointed

The delivery date arrived and passed, don’t bother calling customer service, although friendly enough they aren’t really connected to the store and have limited information. Seems the item was back ordered and not available for weeks. Best Buy did refund however they are still asking me to provide a review :(. One star is too good.

Not good

Regret getting this one, honestly. The evaporator's noise is extremely annoying. I reached out to Frigidaire to see if we had a defect or it was normal - they say it's normal. Whack. Also, of the six soor shelves, 3 have broken off - the little tiny plastic tab that holds it in place does not last long.

The damage is on the left door near the top, I didn't pay all this money for damaged merchandise. This has been a very big inconvenience. Someone needs to communicate with the warehouse About the issue with this particular Frigidaire refrigerator. They need to check the inventory and send it back to Frigidaire if it is all damaged so Frigidaire can correct the damage when manufactured.

Not really what we wanted, but it does the job.

This was then changed to Dec-2nd, we were willing to wait for the fridge we had wanted, until the Delivery Date changed again to Feb. A 3 month Delay in the fridge wanted. We canceled the order of course and complained to the Company. We ended up purchasing This Specific Refrigerator only because it was a Floor Model, was Discounted, and then Discounted again because of our hassle. We still had to wait 2 weeks for it to be delivered. I give their delivery guys 5 stars, but the Delivery Service itself.. ZERO Stars. This Fridge will become a garage fridge where people don't see it because it came off the floor with scratches and dents. I just needed something to hold Thanksgiving left-overs, and that didn't even happen.

Not worth it

Called Best buy total membership and they transferred me to Fridgidaire. Apparanty, the Total Membership is useless here when there is a manufacture warranty still in effect. So that was over half hour wait to speak to somebody. Also, fridge door can be difficult to shut if not allligned correctly.

Poor Construction / Manufacturing Defects

I have only had the fridge for 2 months, but the poor construction with multiple manufacturing defects have had me going in circles trying to get it replaced since it cannot be repaired. The display model at multiple stores don’t have any of the problems I have, so I know I just got a lemon, but it shouldn’t be this difficult to get a non-defective product! Regretting choosing Frigidaire.
