Hi RM17! We're saddened to hear that your ice maker didn't perform as expected; this is certainly not the type of ownership we strive for you to have. If your ice maker is not making enough ice, you can check the freezer control to see if it is set to too warm. Set the freezer control to a colder setting to improve the performance of the ice maker. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. You can also check the fill cup and the tube at the back of the ice maker. If they are covered in ice, look for a blockage. If you see an obstruction, clean your refrigerator's water line. If that doesn't work, consider replacing the water fill tubes. Water gets to your ice maker from the main supply line in your house. If that line gets blocked, water won't be able to go into your ice maker. If you have particularly hard water, it may be that mineral deposits have created a blockage.
