Awesome AC, cooled my entire room. Just remember to clean filter and drain the water.

I have been wanting to buy portable for a while now, but i wasnt sure if it is going to help me. Only now i finally pulled the trigger on this. I have no regrets. The ac is great for my room. It cools down my room during this summer. If course it is not as strong as the wall one, however it does the jobs for me. The best part is, it was on sale when i got it . So yay....

works really well. noise level is not a concern and setup is very easy.

The rules at my son's apartment do not allow window units, this keeps his apartment cool enough for his pets.

For an 8,000 BTU, it's alright. Install for the window vent was awfully easy and setup was a breeze but my main issue with this air conditioner is that I was under the impression that the auto function was energy saving which it is not! All it does is that it's switches from AC to fan then back again if the temp goes back up. Not overall impressed due to not being an energy efficient AC.

This unit is perfect for the room it's in. Keeps the place cool and comfortable and makes the heat ok to deal with.

It's good to cool bedrooms, but isn't very effective in our living room unless we're right in front of it

Live in Florida and our AC compressor went out, so we purchased this until we could get the compressor fixed. It kept our master bedroom (260 sq. ft) at about 80 degrees on a day that reached 94, this is not bad! At night however it struggles to reach 72 when the outside air is 76. We now keep it in our living area to supplement the central unit. Unlike other reviewers we have not had any issues with leakage EXCEPT when rolling it around.

Bought it to use for my camper, but is better suited for a room. Works great in my daughters loft.

This his the spot in a hot spell. Plugged it in and was comfortable in under an hour. Good stuff.

I have this in my bedroom and it cools just fine. I don't like it very cold and usually keep it between 70-72 degrees with a ceiling fan. It feels comfortable and sometimes I have to turn it off because it's too cool for me. However, my sister, who likes her house cold enough to hang meat would never like this.

I was looking for a portable a/c unit for a small room and this unit fits the build. It will cool a small room with a ceiling fan nicely. The only problem is that it is noisy even on low speeds. They should have lowered the low fan speed once the room was cooled so it would be quiet so sleeping was not a problem. For the price it is not a bad deal.
