I use this AC to cool a small classroom during the summer. It’s easy to install, quiet and cools quickly.

We bought this unit after reading several reviews for portable air conditioners. Our new home has odd shaped windows and this was an easy way to cool things off. The unit cooled our living room quickly and we haven't had to empty it yet. We liked it so much we bought an additional unit, with more BTUs

Although lacking the efficiency of a window unit, I bought this for ease of installation/removal. At 50 lbs, it's lighter than a window unit and much easier to handle than a window unit. This goes into a second story window and it was always precarious to fit my older/wider unit. All I have to do now is place the exhaust fan window slider in, lock the exhaust hose on and turn on the unit.

Used this A/C all summer..worked great....Best part was how infrequently the water had to be drained.

I purchased this item based on reviews. First Frigidaire over states the sq ft that 8k BTUs can cool. In a 200 sq ft room it might be fine, however, in a 300sq ft area like it claims. The unit fails to cool adequately. The window exhaust is very difficult to use and keep in place. I purchased an LG 10k BTU unit and that works much better and has a better window exhaust design.

It is not enough to keep a small apartment cool, but is ideal for a small room.

Works great to keep my living room cool and also keeps my dinning room cool as well.

At its lowest it feels like its kinda temperate in the zone right next to the unit. Beyond that nothing. I was sweating in my bed last evening and I had to finally turn a fan on as well. Seriously talk about an energy suck for no impact. I definitely want to get a different unit. I threw away my cardboard box because my super installed it and his staff figured it was done... my windows are weird and cannot do a window unit in this space, but seriously considering cutting the glass and making a window unit happen. Frigidaire, more like "MildycoolAir". What is the point of an air-conditioner that simply fails at conditioning the air around. Gross. Also I have to pay my super again to install a new unit unless a better portable unit fits the same circle as this one....Best buy should pay me like $250 for installation of a poor product they recommended, consequent removal and reinstallation of a product that actually works. what a disappointing experience. Also it was a best buy employee who recommended this brand and this unit for my specifications. Deplorable customer relations on the acquisition of this unit.

This is a decent unit for its price. I only with the ducting was a little longer.

We use in the bedroom to keep us cool during the 100+ degree summer heat.

This is a decent AC, it good for small rooms. Keeps the room nice and cool.

Have 650 sq foot apartment and cools whole place down only one fan running!

160 sq ft sunroom with slider windows bigger than typical window kit. The unit works great at keeping the room cool and was able to install vent without blocking entire window. Couldn't do that with regular window unit. Super nice that no drain needed when running in AC mode.

Great air conditioner that can be moved from room to room in my apartment.

The unit works very well. Cools my room off in about 15 minutes i love it!

The unit cools but is very noisy I can hardly hear myself think it's good for a temporary fix or short seasonal use. Not as a full-time AC unit. I intend to replace next year with something better. I would not recommend this unit.
