This a/c did nothing in my home office. The room is about 250 sq ft and this unit did not cool it.

Got this for our bedroom as the central a.c. doesn't seem to cool the up stairs that well. It didn't make the room as cold as we wanted

Very efficient for one bedroom apartment. Do have to keep an eye out for the accumulated water but it does a nice job.

Worked well for the first 2 years in my small, studio apartment. I would recommend this product.

Less than a month in, the fan would not change speeds. Also, I didn't like that you had to empty water every day for the A/C to work. It's heavy and a chore to drain it. You are better off spending a little more for an A/C that automatically dissipates the water, like the Honeywell unit I got when I returned this one.

I was not able to adjust the fan speed. Not sure if it was just me, or there was something wrong with the unit, so I did return it. Also was not able to make the window adapter for the exhaust hose work properly with my style of windows, even though it did seem that it should have worked. We decided against getting another one of this type for these reasons and are going back to our "in the wall" style.

It works GOOOOOOOD! It cools the whole living room. Everyone is enjoying it during this hot summer weather.

When its hot outside you cant feel it. Definitely only use in a really small room. Not powerful at all.

Frigidaire is the go to company when it comes to cooling your home. These portable are better than most

Works okay. Hard installation. Doesn't keep a small room cold. Best feature is the sleep timer. The hoes is really short.

Was quick and easy to install and get running. Has no problem keeping a 14' ×20' room nice and cool.

Had a little trouble with the vent installation. Does the job though and am happy it's in my room.

Hello BestBuy, I will be reviewing this Frigidaire Portable Air Conditioner & I will not sugarcoat anything. Introduction: I will first like to start off saying that I know it's a few of you cycling through the different variety of portable air conditioners (as well as myself) I've done the same thing. I was on a budget. I didn't want to spend too much as well I didn't want to spend too little due to the fact that I wanted to buy a nice working efficient portable AC that does the job & does the job right. So let me go ahead & get the review. Review: I live in the desert where it gets up to 100+ degrees & one thing that I knew is that I didn't want to be hot whatsoever. So I went on ahead and checked the website & this is the first portable AC that popped up and as well I seen the price was very reasonable & also it was on sale. So I took the leap of faith and went up to BestBuy & purchased it. Installation: Installations was pretty easy if you read the book(manual). It took nearly 15-30 minutes to unbox everything & set everything up. My recommendations is to put together & connecting the hosing to the portable AC first & everything will be at ease. Another thing I recommend is to have another person to help you connect the hose to the window panel & also make sure it's nice fit & secured to the window so the air flow will be perfect. Air Conditioner Review: Once everything is set up & good to go, plug it up & watch the magic work. It takes up to 3 minutes for the compressor to kick in but when it does, you will LOVE it. I have a nice size bedroom and this thing works wonders. The cir conditioner blows ICE cold to the point where you forget that it's summer. Using this for bedrooms will be ideal. This will not be your standard AC for everything such as using this to cool up living rooms, garages, dining rooms etc.. This is perfect for bedrooms. The air circulations is perfect. You will never need a regular fan for your bedroom again. Final Review: I hope this pretty much sums it up and I also hope that I can help others make a decision. Every AC has it's pros and cons and I will get to that. But my final review will be 4.9/5. Definitely will worth the money. Budget or no budget this is a great product. I assure you that you will be more than happy if you choose to buy this. Pros: 1. Nice size. Not in the way. 2. Blows ICE cold. Great air circulation. 3. Price very reasonable. 4. Does it job. Primary portable AC that will last long. Cons: 1. Short hose. Make sure your window is not to far because the product short hose will be a problem. Make sure you have a nice open space so that you can position it the way you want. Thanks people!
