Posted .Hello, callmeelex. I regret to hear that you are having trouble with your exhaust hose. Please make sure you are using the adapters per the instructions on page 6 of your Owner's Manual. Also, your a/c will need to be emptied on excessively humid days or in the Dry Mode. You can refer to page 10 for drainage instructions. A condensate pump may be used with this appliance as well. ~ Brandi

Posted .Hey there, buiddoi. I can understand your concern with the a/c taking awhile to cool things down. It may be possible this model isn't large enough to cool your space. This is only sufficient for a room up to 350 square feet. If your room is larger than this, you may need a larger unit, or it may take longer to cool the room down. ~ Brandi

I bought this portable AC last year in May 2017 so I can only use it during the summer, and I didn’t have this unit on all day and all night so I barely turn on it everyday, just to cool the room and because I don’t want any surprises with the electricity bill. This year, I installed my unit 2 weeks ago because it’s getting hot in NY and then the unit stopped cooling off. I had another AC on my window for many years and it was still working but I replaced it because of the winter and because it was heavy but at least it worked fine for many summers. This portable AC cost $300 more, but it doesn’t last as long as other window AC’s and no, I don’t want to spend $100 more for the technician to fix something that would only last a couple of months because next summer, I’ll probably have the same problem again.
