I am not pleased with this purchase,the unit is large and somewhat heavy,It has a large unsitely vent hose that attaches to window limiting portability,It tends to trip a 15 amp circuit breaker if other things are used at the same time,it struggles to cool an area the size it is rated for.

So mad I bought this piece of junk. The room I use it in is not that big, but even after two hours of max blasting the a/c at 62 degrees with two vornado fans blasting also, the room still doesn't feel cool. What a waste of money. I should have returned it when I had the chance. Don't buy unless you live in a small box.

I ordered the AC and when i received it from day 1 it never cooled i don't know if they dropped it during delivery, the box looked fine and the unit worked fine just never cooled. i call to get a new one and the geek squad first hung up on me then tell me that i have to bring it in myself ..so i went to store took it back and got a refund and went to P.C richardson and got a working cooling portable AC...Honestly dont waste your money on it not worth it . p.s i have a window unit with less btu in a diff room and it cools so dont believe them when they say you need more BTU...

I set this up initially in my son's room and it seemed to work fine. However, the first time I moved it to my living room the vent completely came apart and I couldn't get it back together again. Returning this item today to Best Buy. If you intend to use it in one room only it might be okay, but don't buy if you plan on using it room from room.

The unit comes with a bracket that does not fit any horizontally sliding window, there is no way to keep the bracket in place. The unit does not cool my room, I have to sit right in front of it in, and my room's only roughly 200 square feet. There's no way of adjusting the airflow left to right, there's a single blade to try and force the air one way or another but it doesn't work. All around this is a horrible unit but, the worst part about it is the bracket that does not fit in a sliding window

Lugged this unit upstairs to my 300 sq ft room and it does not cool the room off AT ALL. In fact, the room got hotter . I turned the AC on at 6am when the room was 80 degrees and by noon the room had reached 90.5 degrees. What a waste of electricity and effort putting this thing together.

Worst AC ever tried to use, the instructions for set up in window suck, when finally got exhaust to fit window plugged in to Cool 200sqft room No such luck the unit blows same temp as just a Fan that a 5000 btu window unit used to cool better, Waste of Money and can't return because of having cut the window kit to install, Never buy this unit

This thing has a bracket that is supposed to be made for horizontal sliding windows. It's a huge piece of garbage. I am perplexed by the shape of this braket and how they expect it to sit in a horizontally sliding window. Also I have to sit right in front of the unit, it cannot cool off my room. It's loud too.

NOT at all happy with this. Portable should mean just that - not "you can move it but it still needs a window". This was recommended to me by store personnel who said *nothing* about it needing a window. If I wanted a unit that needed a window, I would have gotten a WINDOW unit!

This AC unit barely cools our room at night. Don't even think of turning it on midday when it's the hottest. Only coolish air emits from this unit. Will return ASAP as it's quite pointless to use

I had it for one year and died. Because I didn't buy the extended warranty I can't do anything about it. Sorry, but will never buy a Frigidaire product or shop in Best Buy again!
