This little power house of an air conditioner gets the job done. It cools the room very fast. Easy to use. It is a little Loud.

We use this unit to cool a sunporch area which would not allow a traditional window unit to be installed (narrow vertical windows). While not wowed by its performance, it does allow use to utilize the space for a portion of those hot and humid days. It is great not to have to constantly empty a reservoir as I experienced with prior models.

This unit cools very effectively, seems safer to me than a window unit since nothing is hanging outside. But it's pretty loud! Luckily I sleep with a fan on. If I was an "absolute silence" sleeper this wouldn't work at all.

I read the reviews and decided to go ahead an purchase the appliance. I have a small size room and it cools it within 10-15min. It is noisy but what do you expect, it's a portable AC unit. Overall good investment for what I needed.

The simplicity of this product being able to transition to any room around the house is great in itself. I have a master bedroom that is about 650 sq feet and I have to say the room is kept adequately cooled, I have a walkinroom that doubles as a nursery, combined with a fan this portable AC can accommodate well sized rooms if need be. I have owned this for a year and I am experiencing condensation in which I have to place a bucket to capture all the liquid that dispenses from this product. I reached out to customer service and they assured that the condensation is normal and it all depends on the temperature and the humidity for the day. Either way this item works great and is still doing the job it was intended to do.

Bedroom is just under 200 sq.ft. and this unit cools it down quite nicely...Price was good & delivery was on time...Easy set-up & operation.....Recommended.

I needed to replace my small window AC but I did not want another one since I had new windows. I saw this on BB read the reviews and purchased it. After using it ll summer I can happily saw it did its job in my bedroom. So glad I chose this one.

Although this is a good value for the price (in that the unit works to effectively cool the room), there were a couple features I wish I had known about prior to purchasing the unit. The air conditioner is loud - louder than my other two in-wall units, although I've never owned a portable AC unit so have no direct comparison. Also, the unit does not seem to have an auto-temperature based shut off system so the fan is continuously blowing, even when the target temperature is reached. That being said, the unit is easy to install and is very effective in cooling off the bedroom I am using it in.

I never know at the beginning this AC has small size body, but very powerful cooling capabilities. But this unit has water comes out at the back panel once a while. Be aware this. This overall is very well!

During the peak summer hours my home central air system can't keep the upstairs cool. I did a little reading about portable AC units and thought that this might help keep the bedrooms upstairs cooler. The unit does a good job of cooling the rooms and has helped my whole family sleep better. The only real drawback is the venting system. It is hard to get the vent to tightly fit in the window. with a little tweaking we got the system to work and overall we were very happy with the unit.

Not a bad portable unit. Puts out very cold air with fairly strong fan speed. The compressor is a bit on the noisy side compared to other portables we have. Overall a very good AC unit.

no louder than a window unit and efficiently cools 18 x 20 ft hot upstair's bedroom. I wrapped exhaust tubing with fiberglass pipe insulation wrap to reduce heat loss inside bedroom and send more of the "heat" out the window - and this helped to cool the room down quicker and to keep it cool in mid-day. Reasonably priced and serves the purpose of effectively cooling the room while I'm resting. Recommend as a good buy.

It's great for a small room use. It was perfect for my living room this summer, my husband and I were able to stay cool. Does not take up much space and can easily be moved around.

when my AC unit in my bedroom died, i started looking into a portable unit. I only have one window in my bedroom, and I would prefer the flexibility of the portable to have nights that we opt to open the window. The reviews on most of the portable units had a lot of negative reviews that said they weren't cold enough etc. We previously had an 8000 BTU window unit, so were hoping this would work just as well. The product was not available to pick up at our local store, so we opted to have it shipped. For reasons I am about to explain, i would NOT recommend that. We received the unit, and the window part had some broken plastic. no biggie. i called frigidaire and they promptly shipped me a new one. we waited until the new piece arrived and then setup the unit. we used it one night and shut it off in the morning as the weather was milder. the next time we turned it on it had an error message that indicated the bottom tray was full. the manual said you only have to empty the tray if you were running in dehumidify mode. this was a concern, as i did not want to constantly be emptying this tray. however, even after emptying it, the error message kept coming back. i called frigidaire. they basically told me i would have to return it to best buy, and have them process it for a replacement (from frigidaire). This made no sense to me, and I advised them i could return it for a refund, as i was not going to wait days for a replacement. When i arrived at our local best buy, they did have units available, so i was on the fence about whether i wanted to try again or get a window unit. since there had been broken plastic, it is likely the box had been dropped in shipment, so i felt i should give the portable unit a fair chance. we did an even exchange, and set the unit up that night. I am happy to report that we have been running the unit daily for nearly a month and no issues whatsoever. It is cold, and i am pleased with it's performance.

I bought this portable AC this summer it keeps my studio apartment very cool. The only problem is the noise, at night it could be very loud beside that its a great purchase.

It works great cools up the room good. Love all the features on it able to turn it on and turn it on by remote control and autoplay. Just a little loud but I guess it's okay.

My condo complex has a rule of max 8,000 BTU A/C units in the living room. So I bought this one and sold my 10,000 BTU unit. I like the remote control. It does a pretty good job of cooling down my living room especially if i sit within 8' of it. I would prefer the 10,000 BTU unit but it is surprisingly close in performance to my 10,000 BTU unit despite the lower power rating. If you have a 8,000 max BTU unit like I did get this unit. Other wise get a 10,000 BTU unit.

While I have central air, certain rooms just don’t cool! I liked the fact that I could wheel this around and optically did not stick out like the older window models. I used it in a guest room mid summer successfully- a little noisy, but otherwise did the trick.

The unit is easily assembled and installed. And it can be moved as needed for cooking. Not as quiet as the best window units and not as efficient, but fills a niche
