Ac has great cooling power. Lower noise level than other AC's, you can watch tv comfortable at a decent sound level. It looks great and the remote is also a plus. I highly recommend it.

Not a bad little AC unit, it keeps my 2nd floor room somewhat cool, probably should have gotten the 14,000 BTU unit instead. I would have given it 5 stars if the remote that came with it actually worked and adjusted the temp instead of doing nothing.

This air conditioner works great in our son's bedroom & would probably cool a larger room if needed. Wish it was quieter but guess it's normal for portable just like a window a/c.

Our windows were too small for a window AC and this is the perfect solution. It does not take too much space for already a small room. Noise is noticeable but does not wake my kids up.

My wife and I recently moved into our in-laws to save money. They are stingy with their air conditioner and this has been a life saver for us. Only con is its a bit noisy and the window mount is a bit lacking for non permanent installation.

This portable air conditioner works great for my living room. Has a powerful blower & gives very cold air. Only downside is that it comes with a very short hose to the window. Recommend buying a longer hose separately for moving options.

keeps room cool, but very loud and never seems to turn off, even when on auto, dry feature can be a pain, need to attach a hose not supplied to unit, and remove hose when you need AC again

Bought for a party tent and it did a nice job. Now I use it in my garage which is bigger than the area it's meant to cover, but still manages to keep it comfortable. Don't expect miracles as it is not designed to cool your whole house!

Purchased for a family member whose ac had gone out. Keeps her living room nice and cool on the hottest days! It made this summer tolerable for a few hundred dollars, as there wasn't a few thousand available to replace the entire home ac unit.

I sleep in the attic of the house and in the summer it gets REALLY hot. I put this bad boy in my little room and it cools it down pretty good. Doesn't take very long to cool it down either. I've been using it just about every night for two months now and it hasn't failed me yet. Only complaint I have is the plastic partition that you use to put in the window. They need to maybe provide different sizes for different windows. Not everybody has a window that is 100 feet wide. I have basic small windows in a basic home in a basic attic. So, I had to use a saw to cut mine down to fit in the window. After that it was all good in the hood.

I've never lived in a place that didn't have AC built into the house. So when trying to figure out what was best. I had several employees telling me benefits and this unit seemed to fit everything I needed in a great price range.

I love it because it keep my whole room cool and I only need to have it on the lowest speed option. Convenient because I can move it to either windows of my room.

This unit is small compared to all the rest. Its easy to carry if needed. I carry it to the bathroom to drain the water. Blows a fare amount of cold air. So far so good!

My central air went down, I got one of these, so I can still have the opportunity to close my window with an air conditioner, as I need to have noise control in my room. When in the window, unless you're willing to make it a permanent fixture, it is by NO MEANS air tight. It will let air out, but it still cools my medium sized room really quick. It also takes up even less floor space that it looks like it will, which is a plus. I slotted this into an 13 inch gap with room to spare on all sides. Hose is finicky and will take some time to set into place, but it's hard to argue. Buying a second one for downstairs.

We are using in my sons bedroom/ basement. It is just under 500 sq ft. cools off nicely. It isnt a sunny room, the 1 window has the vent hose running into it

Wanted the higher BTU rated one. They came out with this one. Didn't realize till after I opened it and set it up. A lot of functions can only be done with the remote.

My son is in college in CA, living off campus. Temperatures have reached 105. After complaining about the humidity and how uncomfortable it was in his room, I ordered the perfect sized portable AC for him. His window opens from right to left, so he couldn't use the standard AC. With my assistance on FaceTime from the east coast, he managed to connect and install hose to the unit and to the window bracket with a butter knife (student loans hard at work - lol). He loves it and I'm glad I made the right choice with this item. Note to myself: order some tools for him.

Bought this for my office in the basement and I'm glad I did. Looks nice and it's not really loud. Just wish it was a bit stronger. Also, keep in mind, you'll need a few inches behind it for the exhaust to run.

I bought this when my A/C went out for a few days. It worked best when I left it on in my bedroom with the door closed. It's really only powerful enough for a small area. It's a bit noisy, but not too bothersome.
