This unit cools nice a medium size room.but too much noisy unit.remote works good.i always use it on econ mode and in the slowest fan speed then the noise is less.

Works great for the size, but notice my electric bill jumped up a extra $50 a month, but well worth it.

This was purchased for my 6 month olds room and worked great so we purchased another for our bedroom.

We had a larger Frigidaire that we liked so decided to try these smaller ones for our bed rooms. Over all, they are good though they are louder than the 8000 BTU one that we have. Overall, pretty good value for a relatively quiet air conditioner.

I pretty much bought this window unit as a gift for my mom since she's always in the kitchen. Even though she has a house unit the kitchen can get a bit hot. But with this unit the kitchen area feel really good

My old unit was 6000 BTU and wasn't doing the job anymore. My intention was to buy a similar size or even bigger. This was on sale the day I was shopping. It is quieter than my old AC and it cools the room much better. I know I am saving money on operating costs compared to before.

This air conditioning unit is great at doing its job, though it does generate quite a bit of noise - particularly with "rattling" of the outflow vents. This can easily be mitigated by adding some foam/other material, but the fact that something has to be done about this takes off a star for me.

This A/C unit did a great job when my central A/C stopped working in the middle of summer.
