My wife and I went from an older window unit, with the same features, to this one, and we were expecting it to at least SLIGHTLY out preform the older one. But alas, it's not quite as cold. The features it has are great, but the temp doesn't feel as cold, therefore only gets 4 stars. Still a good unit for the price though.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

So far so good. No problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product seems to be more useful than a so-called mobile AC unit (as the mobile one anyway needs to be near a window and the hear from the tube to the window adds more heat to the room than it seems the unit can cool. Not a problem with this window unit.

Cools the downstairs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When box was opened at home we found that the unit was damaged, like it had been dropped at the factory, but packaged anyway, as the box was not damaged. Had a dent and scratches on one side of unit. As it was really hot that day we went on ahead and installed it. Did not contact store. Unit works fine though.
