Very pleased with this. Works well, easy to empty, not too loud.

We replaced a dehumidifier that lasted a whole year. That was a replacement for the original one that lasted about a year. Reading the reviews from this unit is why we got it. The setup was easy and it keeps the humidity level at 50%. The bucket doesn’t spill water when you pull it out, but is a little heavy for my wife to empty. Hooking a hose to the unit is a good idea.

Does what it is supposed to do. Nice and quiet too. Works great.

Great for the price, very satisfied with this little dehumidifier

I read many reviews before I purchased the Frigidair dehumidifier. I'm a bit skeptical of reviews, because I am a very harsh critic. I expect the absolute best, when a review states that the product is the BEST available. I was not let down. The Frigidair dehumidifier is everything the reviews said and more! It does a great job extracting the humidity from the air. It has a display that gauges the humidity of the room. Set it for the desired humidity of the room and walk away. Much to my surprise it quickly reached the percentage of humidity I set it for. The Frigidair runs until it reaches the set humidity and shuts off. I don't have a hose attached to it yet, so when it reached capacity it automatically shut off. There is a large catch tray, that's more like a drawer and it holds every bit of what it is rated. When I went to empty it I was shocked at how heavy it was, but that's my fault, I didn't do the math before I emptied it. So I don't allow it to reach full capacity anymore. There is a clear window with a red float on the front of the catch tray, allowing you to see how much water is in there before you empty it. The Frigidair dehumidifier is louder than reported in the reviews, but it is located in an all but empty basement, nothing to absorb the sound. I hoped it would make a difference in the smell and air quality and again the Frigidair surpassed any expectations. There is absolutely no musty smell, not a hint! This dehumidifier allows you store any material item, from clothes to furniture without worrying that they will stink when you want to use them. Worth every penny!!

Item is quite heavy even when not full. It is fairly quiet. Has a someway short cord and does not come with discharge hose to allow the overflow to reach the sump pump.

I bought a similar Frigidaire model less than a year ago and it stopped working so I called the company and they made it possible to get this one as a replacement (because they stopped making the other model). After reading reviews from other people who had the exact same problem (an "F0" error display for no reason) I made sure to also get a 4-year protection plan for this replacement. I hope I don't have to use it. So far, so good, but it's only been running for about a month now so we'll see if it outlasts the other model.

It gets the job done and I’ve had no issues with it since buying it. We needed a new one to replace an old unit and it works pretty well. As long as you don’t mind a little noise I have no complaints. Even the quieter mode is pretty loud. But we only turn it on when we’re not in the room so not an issue for us.

Great dehumidifier for the price. Easy to use and does its job very well.

I have a moderately large unventilated basement in a very old house. Rather than drill holes through the granite foundation, I tried this dehumidifier. What a difference! I do worry a bit about the plastic bin possibly breaking some day, but so far so good.

This unit is very efficient and quiet compared with our prior unit.

This is our third model in two years. The first one worked great the first summer, but when I went to use it the start of the second season, the fan ran, but the compressor seemed to have died. Best Buy replaced it no questions asked. The second worked great all last summer, but one day while picking it up, the handle broke, spilling water all over my basement floor and bar. I had to wait until spring to replace it as they were out of stock so Best Buy gave me a gift card for the value of it. I am now on the third one. Again it works great, and again the bucket handle seems chintzy. Unfortunately, for large units, this is the best rated one online and even on Consumer Reports. I've learned however, that Best Buy does honor their price match promises, and returns for defective merchandise from Best Buy are simple. Great Customer Service!

Dehumidifier is quiet and does a great job of removing the humidity in my basement. It alerts me when the bucket is full and also reminds me to clean the filter.
