I previously had a 50 pint Frigidaire dehumidifier that lasted 10+ years that finally gave out so I needed a replacement... and this fit the bill perfectly. This one is even better than the one it replaces and if I get 10+ years out of it I will be more than happy!

The dehumidifier was in perfect condition when taken out of the box. I have had it only about 2 weeks and appears to be working perfectly. Since I use it in the garage the noise level is of no concern. It appears to be less noisy than any previous one that I have had.

I replaced a 35 year old one with this one. So much quieter than the old one. Does the job great. Yes, you hear the fan but compaired to the old one it is fine. I can hear the compressor come on but not noisy at all.

Perfect size for my basement it pulls out so much moisture. I bought a meter to see if it would work, when I first bought this item the humidity was almost 70 percent now since it's been running it dropped to 46 47 percent for a 1008 Sq ft basement.

This one is definitely better than my old one. It holds a lot more water as well. The drain attachment is very convenient.

I really love this dehumidifier, it works really great! Almost immediately the musty smell was removed from my basement.

The water collection bucket is difficult to remove and seem like it would be easy to break. Th hard plastic seems like it will be subject to crackin if bumped or dropped, which is easy to do because it is so awkward when full. Also, it is difficult to pour out the water without spilling it since it always pours out in two directions because of the design.

Its almost 2 months now and Frigidaire dehumidifier working great .... only concern need to install hose for water.....

This dehumidifier works really well. It changed our basement from a cold, damp one into a warmer, drier one. My husband has it hooked up to a pump for automatic draining so we don't have to empty it.

We bough this unit for our basement. We plugged it in as soon as we got it home, and it has been running ever since.

Just the right product for the price. Seems to live up to reviews elsewhere.

So far this unit is working as we would expect; however, we will see if it lasts. We have a lot of experience with dehumidifiers burning out within two years, so we'll see how this one performs. One issue we do have with it is that the bucket is a bit difficult to push back into its slot, but otherwise, the unit appears to be very solid.

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace the one I had. This machine is taking out 3 times the amount of water as my old one did. It makes less noise and has more control over the humidity level. I would recommend this model to any looking for one.

An essential tool for ridding my daughter's college dorm room of excess humidity. Hopefully this will help her stay healthy (and her room mold free) throughout the school year! Great, easy to set up and use product from a reputable manufacturer.

In use only for a few weeks. So far the unit performs as expected wringing water from our homes humid summer air. Push button controls are of the "flexible pad" type rather that buttons or switches. Longevity of such controls is unknown. The dehumidifier function seems to work well. The water catch basin is difficult to remove and replace. It is easily stuck requiring some jiggling and wiggling to remove and replace. Water capacity is good. A nice feature is a little float ball level indicator that reveals just how much water is in catch basin. This unit replaces another Frigidaire dehunidifier that went bad in less than a year. The company replaced it with this one for FREE. Which I appreciated very much. Frigidaire backed up their warranty with no problem. Best part was they left me return it to Best Buy and I did not have to ship it anywhere. If you buy this unit be sure to keep your receipt!

Easy to put together and works great! Very fast working, out it together and things were dry within an hour. We did buy the warranty because our last which was a different brand broke right after a year. Best Buy’s warranty has always been great.

This is an excellent dehumidifier. My basement is about 1000 sq ft and this machine takes care of it very nicely. This is my second unit. The 1st one went bad because I had hooked up over an extension cord. These heavy machines need to be plugged in directly to the wall unit to function over a long time. Highly recommended.

This is a basic dehumidifier in that it has both an internal bucket and a gravity drain hose but does not have the added (and more expensive) feature of a discharge pump. For the price it is first rate, running quietly and efficiently and removing considerable amounts of water from the air. Can "dry out" a large basement and remove the risk of mould setting in. Good value for the money.

Have been using a Frigidaire (older version) to dehumidify my basement, but was having moisture problems in the sun room where we have a hot tub. Was considering putting in an exhaust fan but didn't want to cut into roof and then decided to try the humidifier. Works like a charm.
