It started right up and worked properly. I like the hose drain connection on the back of the unit. It is superior to the 50 pint unit's drain connection by being a more durable design. I am using the unit in my unfinished 1000 Sq ft basement and am pulling in excess of 2 gallons of water per day from the air.

We thought we had tried eveything to stop wiping down windows twice a day when winter is in season. We constantly reserching how to fix that problem. We have done all of it. Then we read about DEHUMIDIFIER's. Bingo!!! Now the home doesn't smell musky, the air is drier, my clothes don't smell even after washed a week later. Don't have to wipe down windows and window seals. 1st one to buy, turns out to be the best one. Its not loud. it beeps when it is full and turns off when full. YEA!!!!
