This Frigidaire dehumidifier has been great! Not a single problem with it at all. It does what it is advertised to do and drops the humidity level in our spray-foamed house during the "shoulder seasons" when the AC isn't running often enough to pull excess moisture out of the air. Buying this unit is better than buying a whole house dehumidifier which would cost $$$$'s of dollars!

This summer was a wet one and a review of dehumidifiers lead me to this Frigidaire model. Best Buy had the best price and we have not been disappointed! The water tank holds enough to make emptying easy and it’s not to heavy for elder people to handle. The automatic setting is perfect and the warning alert for full tank is a thoughtful reminder to empty. Definitely gets the job done!

This unit replaced a 15 year old Kenmore. So far it is working out well, has good capacity and allows for setting the humidity level, which the old one didn't offer.

This is my third Frigidaire 70-pint dehumidifier in less than 10 years. The product hasn't changed much over the years. My first one stopped working in less than 2 years, but the second one lasted about 7 years until the water tank broke for no reason. Overall I'm satisfied and haven't found a better alternative based on the combination of function and price. I wish there could be some enhancements such as being quieter, but it does what I need - keeping my basement dry. Hopefully this one can last a while.

Great for the first one we've had to buy. I really like the easy clean filter.

It has run almost constantly since purchase. There is a constant trickle of water from the attached hose to the drain. The only problem I had was that the instruction book was not very clear on how to use the product. I had to call the company to get additional information. I believe whoever wrote the book thought that buyers would know how to use it without clear instructions.

I bought this over a few higher priced models and it has gotten the job done. After running it on continuous for a few days, I was finally able to use it by setting the humidity level I wanted. The only hiccup was that I thought it might only take two or three days on continuous to get down below 50% humidity (which is tough to do given the wet June we had), but it took about 6 days. All in all, once down below the desired humidity, it has been running fairly constant for over 1 month with no problems.

This product works great. It brings down the humidity in our basement. I do recommend using the hose option to drain. It is louder than I expected and it does heat up the room some what. I would not recommend for a bedroom or living area due to this. It does its job though and I am pleased with its performance. The noise and heat doesn't bother us where it is at in the basement.

I think this dehumidifier is great. The reason I didn't give it an excellent is because not sure how to clean the inside bucket.
