Another thing: the light is always on that says check filter and there’s nothing wrong with the filter it’s brand new. Why is this so? Front Bucket is awkward to reinsert upon emptying.

The coils condense or draw moisture from the air, and air flows through the top louvers into the room, as dry warm air; which is normal. Please keep in mind that the moisture that is being pulled from the room can depend on the dampness level. If you are having to empty the bucket often, you may have a high dampness level. Also, the air filter light may illuminate after 250 hours of fan operation. To reset air filter press the "Filter Reset" button for 3 seconds and the light will go off. Feeling hot air?
When your unit is started, the fan begins to pull moisture-laden air across the dehumidifying coils.
The coils condense or draw moisture from the air, and air flows through the top louvers into the room as dry, warm air. Moisture removed from the air is collected in a bucket on the front of the dehumidifier.
Your dehumidifier needs to be on a leveled surface to function properly. If your unit is not leveled, this may cause your dehumidifier to make loud sounds.
