Returned it under warranty. Second one lasted a little over a year. Compressor was shot. Luckily I bought the extended warranty. Just returned my THIRD one for the same issue. This one lasted a whole 2 months. It's not even running all the time. Just normal basement operation. It seems these things just aren't made well any more. Not much choice than to keep buying and returning when they fail I guess. Advice: ONLY buy with an extended warranty!

The first one I got was defective and topped working after a few days. The replacement seems to work ok...so far

Now it consistently stops and displays an error code “EC” on the display panel. I’m told this is not repairable. These units are expensive. To have to pay $250 plus every 5 years plus or minus is crazy. We’re very disappointed and frustrated. I will not buy this brand again. This is the second one we’ve had and the first one had a similar problem at about the same timeframe of use.

It was still under warranty and Best Buy was great about replacing it-no problems returning it.. The dehumidifier works well when it works.

Once the dehumidifier has reached the set temperature, the compressor will turn off. During that time, the fan will continue to run to test the temperature in the air and will send a signal to the compressor to turn on if the temperature reaches above the set humidity.

Gets the job done

Called the company and they said that it should drain which it didn't. Some models got kits mailed to them, but the rep I talked to said that these were now built into the humidifier that we bought. Thankfully my husband is Handy and figured out how to get it to to continuous drain. Will not be buying Frigidaire anymore. The two calls to customer service we're less than satisfying
