Should be zero stars. I Do not recommend. Got ‘EC’ error code out of the box. Had same error last time I purchased same unit a few years ago but after a year. Best Buy was awesome and took the unit back no problem! (Only hassle was the extra trip to the store.) I then purchased another brand elsewhere. Never again will buy this brand dehumidifier. Overall terrible quality.

This product has a digital humidity setting, yet even when the setting number is achieved, it still runs. Aldo, this product is fairly noisy. When it does shut off, there is quite a clunk sound.

The dehumidifier has a top discharge. It seems to cycle a lot because the air is discharging straight up to the ceiling and right back to the return on the dehumidifier.

Worked fine until an error code came up. Since a year was up it was out of warranty. Called and was told it was an electrical problem and not worth fixing. Too expensive if a product to not even last two years.

did not like it. had to return it to store , all it did was blow out hot air and made the room very unbearable.

Ended up taking it back because it would run for 30 seconds then turn off.....and continue this short cycle operation. Exchanged it for a different model.

Not really doing as much as I’d hoped. Bought a second dehumidifier that is working much better.

The replacement seems to be working fine. The area where it is located is very comfortable.

Had an EC code immediately! Returned to Best Buy. Am still looking for another brand to purchase. Loved the features of this model so very disappointed with the end result.

Hardly used it. It’s already broke. It turns on but no longer takes the moisture out of the air. I know this because it’s humid as heck and there’s no water in the bin.

Replaced a Frigidaire humidifier with another one. They just don’t last. Not sure where you can get a quality dehumidifier these days. If you get a year out of one consider yourself lucky.

Neat, good-looking unit for large rooms/basement. Easy setup, wheels already mounted. Rolls easily, top-heavy. Has a drain attachment for garden hose. Washable filter screen. Push-button electronic operation, no menus. Hard to read water level in the water tank. Does have red light for full tank, but no audible alarm (probably just as well; check for silence instead). Sludge will form in bottom of water tank, with no easy access to it. Tank needs emptying up to twice a day (weighs 15# when full). Tank lacks a pour spout for emptying, water can pour out in two directions instead! High speed fan noise is about 61 dB at 3 feet. Notably warms room (+9°). Consumes about 30 kwh per month. Does its job.

Bought as an open box item. Delivered in broken box, NO packing material, NO instructions, NOTHING but the unit in broken box.

This is dehumidifier number three over the course of living in our current home. I'm historically hesitant to go with Frigidaire, but based on other reviews decided to give this one a shot. It is working great! Especially like the continuous mode. Directions recommend to run it on that for a few days to quickly get the environment down to the humidity level you're after. In our case, it was 60% when I powered it up yesterday, and after +/-24 hours it is down to 40%. Filled the built in storage tank by late afternoon yesterday. I left it at about 1/3rd when heading to bed and it was full this morning. In my opinion, the unit is quiet as far as dehumidifiers go.

Operated as advertised for around twenty days until the humidistat quit working

Had to return it. Would turn on and make noise but that’s all.

Leaked at multiple points to much power in the system

It appears to be quiet but I have it in my basement so I am not usually near it. My basement is very damp and I don't empty the water often enough so it runs constantly until it's full. It lowers the humidity level to near what I want but since I neglect to empty it regularly it starts to climb back up. I would recommend buying this product.

Easy to unpack and setup per instructions. Removes humidity very fast, quiet, does not freeze and the fan shuts off when not needed. After having many De-humidifier, this unit is the best so far.

I like this unit. The price is competitive with other sellers. Pro’s: long cord Easy controls- must read manual to figure out codes Nice cover over bucket to avoid backsplash Pull up handle for carrying Easy clean surface Filter is not hard to find/replace/wash Con’s: Severely underpowered or over advertised Very heavy for its size Wheels do not work on normal pile carpet. They do work on tile/wood floor. I live above a river. Humidity is high until it freezes. This allows me to accurately monitor the 70 pint per day claim. The max I have gotten is 30 pints a day, rounding up. The unit has not frosted up, and house is kept closed. Unit runs 24/7. My house temperature in the woods is about 70F. Outside day temps have been 60-78F, nights are 55-63F. This unit did cause a 2 degree increase to inside temps. I find it quite comfortable. This unit replaced another that was older. The older model was not pulling the rated pints either, so I believed it defective. Apparently water pulling rating is more arbitrary than I expected, in a real world use.
