Only had 3 days. So far, so good. Performs as l had hoped. Definitely takes moisture out of area used in, but is pretty loud as l had expected. Waiting and worrying about electricity consumption, although l know removing this moisture does come at a cost. I,m just wondering though why specs for all dehumidifiers list water removed per day is 1\2 amount of what is advertised on box. 70 pint deh removes only 35 pints per day. Like, what's up with that?

I had this connected to a condensation pump that drained water to outside. It ran pretty much continuously and kept basement nice and dry also smelling fantastic. Then recently, it just started shutting off randomly. I’d start it and it would run for a short time and go off again. I’m glad i have the protection plan because this should last longer than three years I’ve had it. Praying for a fix!

We have a 3000 sq ft super insulated house that is sealed up vapor tight and humidity builds up because it cannot escape. I purchased this Frigidaire unit and it works perfectly and quickly to bring the humidity level down to an acceptable level. It is simple to understand and operate and easy to empty when full. An excellent Dehumidifier!!! Highly recommend it!!! Thanks Frigidaire!!!

We keep the dehumidifier in our musty basement/garage, and keep it on all the time set to about 65% humidity. This one worked great for the first few months. Just before winter, we noticed that it wasn't collecting any water, so we turned it off, thinking it was too cold to collect water. Now, it's damp again with high temps, and there is not one drop of water being collected. It hasn't even been one year, and this thing isn't working! Calling the warranty number gets you NO WHERE. You cannot reach a human, and ultimately leaves us with an email address. Well, it's been several days since we sent the email, and have gotten no response. I've read other reviews that lead me to believe that Frigidaire will not be able to service this problem, as it is probably part of the sealed compressor, which is unrepairable and not covered under the warranty. I've read that they offer a 50% discount off a new model. Really? I will. NEVER buy anything from this company again. Now I am going to best buy with this issue, since they sold me a product that broke before the one year mark.

I've had this product for a couple years and it's working great. Does a fantastic job of keeping humidity in check in my basement.

3 stars because it did last 4 years and worked great. Then 2 weeks after the warranty expired, it gave the EC "Death" code. This is our second one to die this way. The first time it died after 3 years, so we got the 4 year warranty. Still not good enough!

I've gone through a number of dehumidifiers and this is the best so far. I had one that I thought was amazing because it lasted 10 years. But this keeps the basement much drier. It is replacing an LG one I bought about 4 years ago, I won't buy LG products anymore because of that and several other LG products I've thrown to the curb in the past few years. I have a very damp basement with a sump pump, this unit keeps it very nice. I also like the fan points up so I've found two great uses. One, I can hang clothes to dry over it and two, the febreeze things you can stick on your car dash fit perfect on the fins to make it not smell so much like a cellar.

This giant dehumidifier is the greatest ever. It made my room dry and no humid at all. It contains a lot water. I have 4 bedrooms, but there is no problem to use it for couple hours to be dry in the bedrooms.

I bought this model based on its ratings and customer reviews. I returned it because the humidistat on the unit was off by 10-15 points according to the new humidity monitor that I purchased and the older ones I already had. It ran constantly and never seemed to reach the modest humidity goal of 50%. I have an 800 sq ft basement area with some cobblestone walls (house built in 1875). It is very important that I am able to count on my humidifier operating properly and accurately. Disappointing as I found the unit to be quieter than most and easy to attach a hose for continuous drainage. I also found Frigidaire customer service to be nonexistant. Tried calling two numbers and could not reach a live person. Emailed as their website suggested (also said I should expect a response in 48 hrs) and it took 12 days to receive a reply. Thank goodness I bought this at Best Buy and there were no hassles with the return (must be done within 15 days of purchase/pickup). The employee serving the return desk said that he had other models returned with the same complaints.

I have been thru so many dehumidifiers trying to keep my basement dry and all of them went belly up, were noisy, and never worked well. This product works remarkably well. My basement has never been this dry. I highly recommend.

Replace old machine that finally died. Definitely more efficient, but still uses a fair amount of electricity. Does work well, maintains humidity within about 45% in a large, 1500 sq ft basement

Reviews on Best Buy online convinced me that an extended warranty was needed because several customers had machines stop working soon after one year. The salesman in the Best Buy store did not have the 70 pt dehumidifier on hand, so he told me to buy it online and bring in the paperwork to get the extended warranty. The website made it appear that I was buying the machine from Best Buy, but when I brought in my paperwork I was told that this was bought from a 3rd party and could not get an extended warranty! "Just like Amazon" the Geek said! I do not want the machine without the extended warranty, so I'm told to return it -- which means shipping cost and a restocking fee! Best Buy will do nothing to correct their mistake, or deliberate misinformation. I have wasted a lot of time, theirs and mine, going through phone trees. The 3rd party has been much more responsive, but Best Buy has been a complete stonewall. Neither the store manager nor 888-Best-Buy will correct their mistake. I will now seek an extended warranty from the Chinese manufacturer, since the 3rd party store does not provide it. I will correct my mistakes, and stop wasting time, by no longer buying from Best Buy.

Good-looking range-oven. Very flexible burner and oven options for many tasks. Everything worked as advertised in the instructions. My complaints are with the cooktop and controls. The shiny black top (even on the "white" unit) shows every spill and mark. Requires frequent use of special glass-top cleanser if you want it looking sharp, so it's a good thing it is flat and easy to clean. Caution: when using a smaller inner ring up front, burning heat still spreads to the glass over the outer ring! The oven seems to take a long time to heat up, despite excellent insulation. After six months of use I still have to consciously check a control knob that I turned a burner ring on correctly. The knobs for front rings turn left or right depending whether you want an inner or outer ring. The inner rings turn left from high to low, while the rear single rings turn left from low to high. Worst, the indicator marks on knobs are small and practically invisible in certain lights, and not tactile. Timers are sometimes tiresome to set precisely, juggling up and down buttons to home in on exact higher minute, or to adjust time while in use.

I'm on my second one of these. First one failed just before the warranty was up, and they mailed me a check for the cost. The second one failed just after warrenty, and they're refunding my money. Noisy

Electrolux told me to return to BB for replacement.

I have a large basement. Our old dehumidifier last for over 15 years. This new one just made it past the one-year warranty. Before it started leaking is worked well. Is it worth fixing?

Looked at many dehumidifiers - this one seemed to be recommended the most. Very satisfied with choice.
