Posted .Sorry to hear the a/c did not keep your living room cool, Christina. Please make sure you have it properly vented outside. Once it is properly installed, use the cool mode with the high fan speed for the best cooling performance. It may take a couple of hours to cool the room down if the room temp is already high. The air exiting the air conditioner is generally 17-20 degrees lower than the intake air. If you need additional assistance, please call 1-888-203-1389 M-F from 8a-8p EST. ~ Brandi

Calling 800 Frigidaire service number useless, as they put you on hold forever. Went to Best Buy for help, waited 45 minutes only to be told the female employee didn't have time to help me. Next time I am in town, I will be returning this item for refund.

I ran it for hours and it it was only able to lower the temperature about three degrees. I tried it for almost a month but had to finally return it. The 700 sqf rating for this product is wildly overstated.

It had some good reviews. I am very disappointed. It did not even cool off 500 sq ft. I would not recommend this portable air conditioner if you want to stay cool this summer.

Wouldn't cool my 550 sq/ft living room

Instead my living room stayed at the same temperature the entire time I was using this product. In fact it produces more hot air than it does cold. On top of that the fan was very weak, you have to stand right in front of the A/C to feel anything. And before someone asks yes I have blackout curtains, wrap around curtain rods, weather strip seal on the windows, and doors. I'm just gong to stick to my 2 Vornado NGT425 and smaller Vornado Duo Tower to circulate air around my home. They are just fans but at least they keep the place feeling a little fresh, and that's a bigger improvement than this Frigidaire.

Pulls a lot more energy than described. Takes long to cool down a 200sf room. My smaller insignia portable AC is better and $300 less.

This air conditioner is designed to cool a 700 square foot room; it will be much too big for a 200 square foot space and will perform much less efficiently than a model of appropriate size. An oversized air conditioner may cycle on and off frequently as the air it blows out bounces back on the sensor, and it may cool the room too quickly, leaving it clammy and uncomfortable. For a 200 square foot room, we would recommend a 6,000 BTU model. ~Ashton

Arrived with broken parts

I purchased this as open box excellent condition. It arrived poorly boxed for shipping. It came with a remote that has a smashed screen, broken wheel and scratches. When I called Best Buy I was told they couldn’t help me as it was an open box item and to take it to my local store. At the store I returned the item and purchased a Honeywell portable air conditioner. So I really can’t rate this as I never had a chance to use it.

Doesn’t cool up to 700 sq. Ft.

Our house is only 800 sq ft. And we don’t have central ac. I bought this unit in hopes that it would keep our living room cooler. But with the unit set at 60 degrees it will get about 80 in our living room. Which is about 200 sq ft. Also we have 2 other units running in the house and they do a good job of keep their rooms cool. So for me it wasn’t worth the extra money for this unit

Doesn't Cut it!

I have less than that in my living room with all my doors and windows closed and it could cool down the space if my life depended on it and believe me I made sure to check to see if there was any of the hot air coming in from outside. Go with LG.
