Great price good quality wish they build these things to last!

It is nice, quiet and not too big. It dispenses out very cold air. But a major flaw this and all other portable air units have is that they shoot the cold air straight up! To the ceiling..... So the unit gets the freezing air out but because it goes up, the room never cools down. Very strange

Nice ac unit really good for my garage and it kept me cool all summer in Cali.

This air conditioner replaced a 5000 BTU unit, and honestly only puts out 30-40% more cold air than that unit. Pretty disappointed in the performance overall. Consider this unit appropriate for a 150-200 Square Foot area, not the 700’ they claim. 14,000 btu units from other brands seem to put out a lot more cold air than the Frigidaire. Also, yes - it is installed and vented correctly.

I have owned a few portable ac units and this one has been one of the best ones, if you read the owner's manual and follow the instructions it will perform as it should, I would recommend it for sure, the bad reviews come from people that either did not follow instructions or never owned a portable ac unit.

I have purchased numerous Frigidaire air conditioners over the years, and have 6 in my home now. I bought this one 2 months ago with deepest Regret! I properly install the unit (HVAC Worker here) in a 10’x10’ low 8’ ceiling, well insulated, closed door Kitchen and “coldest” it has been is 84 F inside, with this “700 sqft -14000 btu unit”. So I placed additional 3 High Velocity oscillating Fans to try and circulate the air Because this unit is so weak! Right now it’s 10:30am In TX, outside temperature is 86 F and inside my “air conditioned” kitchen it’s 92 F Inside!!! I have the thermostat set to “60 F” continusly blowing. I previously had a 10,000 window unit that kept the room at a constant frigid 68-70 F while set at 69 F turning off periodically when desire temp is met. This New “14000 btu portable ac” is a joke and does Not even cool a 100 sqft room!! On a Positive side I do like the oscillating arm and it is very quiet but Not effect at all!! Please Buy a window unit, or Differnt model if portable unit is necessary as Mine was

This is ridiculous. The hose they give you for the vent is way way short. Only if you have super low windows in your house is this gonna work. Then....and it gets better. Want the hose that will actually work? You can buy it for $67.00. AND be advised it's an odd proprietary size so only Frigidaires will work. I am embarrassed I bought this. Thought I was smarter. Be smarter than Rob...do not buy this AC unit. I have over 35 years experience in construction. Didn't do me any good here.

So purchased this for my 550 square foot living room and it doesn’t even cool!! I’ve tried everything by blacking out my windows, moving the ac to a different location, getting it replaced and nothing. Waste of money. On top of this the unit actually caught fire!!!! Immediately went back to the store for a refund. This is having the unit for 3 months. I purchased another unit by the same company called Frigidaire gallery 12000 btu smart connect and it cools better then this unit.

It take forever to get cool a small room, to much money for poor functionality

I bought this out of necessity earlier in the summer when it was the only large portable A/C unit at my local Best Buy. It's been a frustrating waste of money. It can barely cool my ~400 sq ft living room a couple degrees below the outside temperature. Then when it's over 90 degrees outside, this unit is useless. The fan is incredibly weak and takes forever to push the cold air across the room. Recently, I have run the A/C all day and returned home after dark well past 9:00 p.m. to still find my living room is over 90 degrees. As other reviews have mentioned, the exhaust hose warps in the heat and falls with the slightest movement of the frame...which defeats the purpose of having a "portable" A/C unit. It's worth traveling to farther Best Buy locations if it means you'll be able to pick literally anything besides this unit. F-.

Was okay for my 650 sq foot basement. Not great but took the edge off enough to be comfortable in the summer. After 2 months, it just stopped blowing cold air. I can hear the compressor cycling on and off but not producing cool air at all. The company is sending me a gift card for the purchase price after I go through an annoying process of sending things in via snail mail. Wish I bought the protection plan from Best Buy. Now we are just going to deal with the heat for the rest of the year.

Nothing else is plugged in on the circuit but it keeps tripping the breaker every few minutes. Do NOT but this unit. I'm taking it back to the store.
