This window unit is awesome! The app is so cool, if the unit is off, it will tell you the temperature of the room. It works quickly on the highest feature. It is a bit noisy, but I like a little noise when I sleep, so even if it's not necessary for cooling, I turn the fan on low at night.

great buy but noisy; cool product complete with remote which you can also program on your phone;with the phone app you can turn it on or off even when you're not home.

The Frigidaire App is the worst app ever and only works if Jupiter and Saturn are properly aligned and it's a sunny day with less than 30% Humidity, and if your device has over 97% battery life remaining. Basically, don't buy this AC for it's Wifi capability, the app never works, always says can't connect to service, looks like it was designed 10 years ago. As for the AC itself it's pretty good, we're happy with it. The only complaint is that EVERY time you turn it on, it's in econ mode, when realistically,... I WANT COOL! so it's power button, then mode button. Consider it a two button power-on.

Bought mine from BB, shipped in OEM package which doesn't seem fit for this type of shipment thus my unit had a dent in the corner & a damaged Accordion. I tested the unit & it worked fine so I called up Frigidaire & they promptly sent out replacement parts. The LEDs are bright, if this bothers you then plan accordingly. WiFi tip (Mfg instructions failed) I used an android to get my unit connected to the WiFi. The trick is that I had to place my android into airplane mode, & then turn on WiFi to successfully connect to the air conditioner. I believe my phone automatically detects if a WiFi connection has a route to the internet & if it doesn't it defaults back to using the cellular wireless for connectivity. Once I got WiFi connected I had no issues using the app on my Google Nexus 5/6p android phones. The scheduling option is fantastic as I used it to turn the A/C on in the room shortly before I'd retire to bed allowing the room to cool before I entered. I used the unit for all summer of 2017 without any problems. As some indicated the unit doesn't allow some of the condensation to drain which increases efficiency but does add a swooshing type sound.

This AC runs well and is definitely more than enough for my 12x12 room. It has an economy mode that is cool and a wifi enabled operation so that I can start stop and adjust temperatures as needed remotely.

Frigidaire is my trusted brand when it comes to air conditioner. My old one lasted for about 10 years and decided to get a new 8,000 BTU, a lower one in another room. It is great and comes with a remote controller. This is a summer must have!

One of the reasons I purchased this AC was bc I was going to be able to turn on/off and change temp via wifi via app. Well, app does not work at all and therefore, there is no way to control it via wifi. So it kind of defeats the main purpose as to why I purchased it. Other than that AC works fine.

The main selling point of this air conditioner is the wifi control capability. I read reviews prior to purchasing it and I read some that said that the app was horrible. I gave it a chance and I should not have. First of all, every time you open the app it wants you to "sign in". Your not signing in because it doesn't ask for the credentials you used when creating an account. You just touch "sign in" and then you see the air conditioner on the app. That is when it works, which is hardly at all. Mostly what you see is an error message saying there is no connection. The app needs to be rewritten from the ground up. The app' s shortcomings pretty much make this AC useless for me. If the app is not fixed soon, I will not recommend Frigidaire brand products to anyone.
