The operation of the air conditioner controls are a mystery.No instructions came with it.Could not register it with Frigidaire online for warranty purposes.

Keeps the room cooled off. Love the timer feature.

So far this has been just the right unit for us. It fit the window we wanted it for , has helped cool the kitchen and dining room on those 80 degree plus days .We are very pleased with this unit.

It does keep my bedroom cool, but the energy saving mode doesn't really work right. It shuts off sometimes for too long, and you wake up sweating or it'll shut off then turn back on right away.

Very happy with the performance of this AC. Much more quiet than I was expecting. Temperature stays very close to the displayed degrees.

Just right for our master BR. Considering we hail from hot & sunny Modesto in the Central Valley, it does its job & it comes along with the energy-saving feature which automatically shuts it down when it reaches your pre-set temp & then runs again if it senses the temp is over your preferred. There's also a sleep timer. All these conveniently operable in the included RC. Noise-wise, it has a loud hum but for me, I don't get bothered by an A/C's hum, it actually soothes me to sleep. Been using it nightly for almost 2 mos already & so far, no complaints!

A/C works, but controls are lacking. On cool mode the fan keeps running after you reach temperature, never shuts off. On the economy mode the fan shuts off when the temperature is met and comes back on about every 10 minutes, however it does not stay on long enough to circulate enough air to see the inside temperature is higher than outside temperature.

Needed an air conditioner for my son's bedroom and this unit fills the need quite adequately. Cools the room quickly, has an Econ mode which is nice and is rather quiet when set on low.

Had very nice cold air flow and would cool off my entire living room in now time. Lasted a long time too

I was also happy I used Best Buy installer. Now I have a secure window AC and a cool room.

I currently have the ac located in my bedroom windows and its able to cool my bedroom, about a 20' hallway!

Wish i got a 10,000 btu since it takes a while to cool my studio apartment but it was easy yo install and a great price

When I read the review I couldn't understand how with so many great reviews there could be a review that contradicted everyone. Well now I'm a believer- the one poor review turned out correct, didn't cool well and very noisy.
