The bottom casing was bent like it had been dropped or mishandled during shipping. I decided to keep it anyway as I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it etc. I set it up and started using it and it works ok. I think its ability to cool 859 sq.ft. Is a stretch. However it does cool my 500 sq.ft. Bedroom nicely.
