But any other area you should be fine. The WiFi however has never worked so I’ve never been able to connect it to WiFi so don’t purchase this just for that feature find another one.

Installation wasn’t easy as we have brand new windows that don’t seat the unit so well, so we had to wait for a frame to be delivered to the tune of another $100. Slept very well for about a week and we wondered why we hadn’t added a window unit to the bedroom previously. Then... the rattle. Started small one night as a persistent click. Within two nights, it was unbearable AND WE WERE PAST THE RETURN WINDOW. Researched and can’t find a solution. Tried running the unit during the day and it’s so loud it’s annoying no matter where you are in the house. It’s a horrible, very loud sound. This has been a complete waste of time and money. A brand new unit should not have to have repair work in the first couple of weeks of use. I read reviews of various problems with this unit and bought anyway thinking reviewers had unrealistic expectations for a small unit. Nope. In our experience, this is a bad unit. If I could leave a video as proof, I would have.

During high humid days, your air conditioner may produce more moisture than normal; which may produce louder “gurgling” sounds. This is normal. For further details about the types of sounds your unit may make, please review page 4 of your model’s “Use & Care” guide.

Took a bit of setting changes to get it set up initially but once I did, it's perfect. I can turn it on 30 minutes before I get home and come in to a cool home.

Not worth it

Also I changed my wifi password and have not been able to re-sync the wifi. Not worth it... get another AC, skip the aesthetics and wifi feature on this one.
