Buyer Beware

Honestly aside from the great design it just doesn't cool my room and it's not even a big room. it is 86 degrees outside. I have it at the lowest possible of 60 degrees and my room is still 78 degrees. Buyer beware.

Some tips that can assist with your matter, is to ensure that there are not any items blocking the vents. Restricted air flow can cause the air conditioner to not cool as designed. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. You may need to allow the air conditioner to run for several hours in order to notice a considerable difference, after making adjustments. Not a good AC

It’s a piece of crap. The rooms temperature would be at 75 degrees and the AC would say 60 degrees, refusing to make the AC work any harder than it already is. I do not like this AC and feel like it was a waste of money. The insignia, though not having as many “smart” features is definitely a better option.

Not very efficient

Says it’s efficient up to 250 square feet but it’s not. The only good thing is it cuts off st 5am as programmed otherwise it’s overrated not a good unit looking to see if I can switch with bestbuy too bad I tossed the box it came in.

"Smart" device cant remember my settings

None of that matters as neither your manual input, the app, or Alexa will allow you to program a default setting tailored to you. Expect to change it from one of the worst default settings I've ever experienced from an air conditioner ever single day. Which is eco friendly (aka distractingly turning on and off your ac every few minutes) and 73 degrees. Such a hassle. If this thing had knobs or buttons like the oldest of ac units, you wouldn't have this issue. Dont be tempted by the gimmicks. Buy something more practical.

looks nice but lacks power

The AC unit will drop the temperature of the air it pulls in by 17-20 F degrees before blowing out into the room. If you feel cold air being exhausted from the front vent of the AC unit, the unit is working. You may need to check out a few other factors that could be affecting your unit such as the temperature of the room and how well the room is insulated. Insulation is what helps the room maintain the cold the AC unit generates. Without insulation, the unit will struggle to maintain temps. Is the room enclosed? The unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Close all openings (windows, doors, side curtains on the unit, and window framing the unit sits into) in the room where the unit is located. What is in the room? The unit will struggle to maintain in an environment with large heat-producing appliances (examples: pizza oven, computer server, manufacturing machinery.) Be sure to check that the installation is correct. Ensure nothing is blocking or impeding airflow at the entire front or entire back of the unit. All louvers on sides must also not be cover or blocked. Impeding the airflow will cause the unit to struggle to maintain temperature. Are the air directional louvers positioned improperly? Position louvers for better air distribution. Check for air deflecting back into the unit from a wall or ceiling. Lastly, check that the outside condenser coil is blocked or dirty. Make sure the condenser coil is clean and not restricted by bushes, trees, debris, or winter covers. Once the above has been satisfied, let the appliance run for several hours to check for a considerable difference in temperature. If you are still having issues, be sure to connect with us directly so we can assist. wifi didnt work

This unit also blows from the top so I dont think it works as good as a normal unit that blows air from the front of the unit.

Not getting cold quickly

Check the following factors as they could be affecting your unit and why it is not getting cold enough. Ensure that your room size is correct for unit size, a 6,00 BTU unit can cool up to 250 sq. ft., a 10' x 25' area. Check the the temperature of the room and how well the room is insulated. Insulation is what helps the room maintain the cold the AC unit generates. Without insulation, the unit will struggle to maintain temps. Is the room enclosed? The unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Nice Design Overall Good Product

Cool my room and goes off when it reaches to the desired temperature on Eco mode. Connecting to the Google Assistant wasn't what I expected, but it does work. A bit noisy, but not too bad. Overall is a good product.
