Never had the chance to test out this Micro-wave because it arrived for my Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Dented and the Contractor I paid $75 to install it was unable to do so. So I'm out ...... Lesson Learned

This is the second Frigidaire microwave we have purchased since livingnin our home for the past 9 years. Call me an optimist, but I think we should still be on our first. The first one had a plastic tab inside of the door handle mechanism that held the spring for tension when closing the door, once that broke the door could not be closed again, and so we purchased this one (in order to match our appliance package). Now, this one has been tripping my breaker for some time when going to microwave, used my DMM and everything on the cable and outlet checked good, replaced the outlet just to be sure, it tested good also. Went to use it the other night and the cable sparked. Took it out of service. That is almost $700 on microwaves in 9 years. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Frigidaire products. Buy yourself something that will last.

Purchased because it matched rest of appliances. Micro part works well but fan is very loud and doesn't seem to have much suction.

Microwave delivered on October 21, for new kitchen install with other Frigidaire appliances. (Wanted it later, to be installed with kitchen, but no choice, had to be UPS'd.) Installed on 11/5 with other appliances. Did not work, no lights, nothing. Phoned Best Buy (sorry it is past our 15 day return policy, you'll have to call Frigidaire.) Called Frigidaire they scheduled local repair for 11/21 (OK, in time for holidays). Local repair calls back on 11/19 and says they actually don't have any openings in our area until 12/1. Nice Best Buy, now I'm without a microwave until at least early December. Would have been happy to return to store for exchange, but told that was not possible since ordered online and defective appliance......

I read the reviews and did research before I purchased- I even went over my budget to get a "nicer" appliance. When I was installing it, one of the threads that the screws go into fell into the microwave preventing me from correctly installing it. Since I bought the warranty, Geek Squad told me that it would be much easier to replace the entire thing than to fix the piece. So I got a new one delivered and guess what. The same thing happen on microwave number two.This time, I was able to get two of the three screws in place so it is screwed into my cabinets tightly, but am still a little uneasy knowing that there is a third screw that never went in because the thread fell into this microwave too. Frustrated, I decided to keep this one and live with it since it was such a headache returning and waiting for replacements. In my opinion, this microwave is junk. The same piece was defective on both of my microwaves, so chances are it will be on yours too. The only reason I gave it a star is because it looks nice.
