Bought because of brand name and price point. Looks great, but too loud when running. Puts off a high pitched sound from the freezer side. Exchanged it for a much quieter Whirlpool.

This item did not work from the first day. When I called Frigidaire for support they said they had no-one to send to repair it but they would call in a few days to give new the name of a firm. They never called back. It was only when I got Best Buy involved that the problem was resolved. Best Buy agreed to take it back and replace it with a completely different one. Kudos to Best Buy.

Made horrible noises!! High pitch noise! Should have read reviews. Door storage was not good.

I had to return and exchange this product for a different brand due to the loud annoying noise on top of the motor noise.

We love the look of it- but the sound could be heard throughout the entire house. Kept the whole family awake.

Truly a piece of junk. This is with very light use. Fridge runs all the time resulting in a high energy bill. Front panel control failed as LED numbering faded out then disappeared. Icemaker stopped working (motor). At least there were easy DIY repairs, but the parts were $300.

Not sure who is to blame but the ice maker stopped working within a week.

Fridge doesn't stop running. Now getting another per warranty.

Trays will not pull out easy. Door hinges are bent.

Bought the fridge from Best Buy barely 2 months ago and noticed shortly after that milk was going bad before the expiration date - checked actual temp with a fridge thermometer - 41 degrees when it was set to 37. Before thinking that it was a big problem, figured it might be just a bad calibration - bumped the setting to 35 and that seemed to fix the problem... for a little while. Now fridge is at a constant 40-41 - obviously on the edge of food safety - and set at 33. Called Best Buy and they refused to support the product they sold. Called Frigidaire - 2 companies do their service in this area - one doesn't handle refrigerators and the other cannot come out for over three weeks!!! Frigidaire is now looking for another service provider to come out and have a look (will get back to me in 1-2 business days#. I LIVE IN THE WASHINGTON DC AREA - NOT THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!! HOW CAN YOU ONLY HAVE ONE SERVICE PROVIDER??? Then Frigidaire suggested that I contact Best Buy for support (did I just mention that BB was NO HELP?). Frigidaire offered to extend the manufacturer's warranty an extra 6 months - I have a feeling that it will be needed based on what I have read. The one positive in all of this was the Frigidaire customer service rep seemed to be doing her best to help and was very polite. All of the other quality and performance complaints that I have since read seem to be valid as well - tight squeaky drawers, less than functional space, LOUD motor and icemaker, etc... This refrigerator is a disappointment - spend a few dollars more and buy one that won't disappoint!!!

Just took delivery of this unit. The fridge is good for space as well as the overall appearance, including the grey color on side with the stainless front, while many have black color sides. The adjustable shelves and compartments are functional but very thin and cheap plastic drawers which make the sliding not as smooth as other brands/models. The only real negative is the ice maker set up - the hole for the ice to pass through the outside door is a small round circle and any time the ice cubes fall and stick a certain way (flat) and are too long to pass through the hole sideways so ice all backs up, then when you open the freezer door the bin inside the door is overflowed and ice falls all over the floor. The opening for the ice cubes needs to be larger. Comments from Frigidaire?

Only had my fridge for a short time and got flooded so not sure. Fridge does not work and BB won't do anything to help me, but I still have to pay for a fridge that does not work.

I still can't believe some of the other reviews that have been written. This refrigerator is attractive, fairly quiet and had a good price point. Some have complained about noise. This sounds about the same as my $2300.00 Kitchen Aid. Sure, freezer makes noise when cubes drop into the tray. Well, all freezers do. No, this is a very nice refrigerator for the price and I'm glad I purchased it. And oh, if the drawers stick a bit at first, add a little food grade silicon to the slides. Works great!

The ice maker is a nightmare! The ice cubes get stuck in the dispenser and you have to reach up and move them so they dispense. They then over flow and fall all over the floor. The other issue is that food on the left side of the refrigerator freezes. Tried all temperature settings. Price is good but not happy with the product..

Needed a counter depth refrigerator and did not want to spend $2k +. Great price for a Stainless Steel Counter depth. works well.

I purchased this refrigerator on Wednesday, July 15. It was delivered and set up on Friday, July 17. All was well the first 3 nights, but in the middle of the night on Monday, July 20, it started making an extremely loud alarm sound, much like the Amber Alert/Weather Warning on an iphone (or the buzzer at a professional basketball game, as another reviewer pointed out). I'm not talking a semi-annoying buzzing sound that comes from machines that are plugged in, I'm talking a wake the whole house up, dogs are running and barking, kids are crying, end-of-times alarm clock, which then went off without fail every 45 minutes to an hour. After the first night of no sleep, I convinced myself this was a fluke, but low and behold it started doing it again the next evening (we were gone from the house for the day, not sure what it did while we worked, sleep deprived). Anyway, l was fed up so at 11:30 p.m. we started packing our groceries up and moving them to a neighbor's house so that we wouldn't lose our stuff but could unplug this HORRIBLE MONSTER FRIDGE. After carefully researching this model across various sites it became clear that this is a KNOWN problem and people have not been able to get it fixed. I not only returned the item, exactly a week to the day that I originally purchased it, I switched to a Samsung and paid a lot more money, in hopes to never go through something like this again (knock on wood). The reviews about the noise are true. They tried to tell me at the store that they had never heard of this problem before, this fridge sells all the time (of course it does, it is the cheapest counter-depth model they sell). However, the guys that picked up the fridge and brought the exchange said they pick up this Frigidaire model all the time for the same complaints! Also, all the complaints about the cheaply made shelves are true. The meat drawer is attached to a shelf and it is so cheaply made that every time you pull it out, the shelf tilts back. I did like the drink holders in the door though, but not enough to put up with the NOISE, NOISE, NOISE! Just a note, if Best Buy actually reads these reviews, the people both in-store and delivery were BEYOND HELPFUL in all aspects of the purchase of both refrigerators, the return/exchange, and delivery/redelivery. Your store in Midland, Texas is doing something right! Thanks for the great costumer service!

We purchased this fridge about six months ago everything seemed fine, but then we noticed the first drawer (Chill Drawer) is very squeaky and hard to push in. In addition, the water filter doesn't last very long. and the replacement is $45 each!
