17 months after Purchase - Repairs Begin
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Damper Control module quit which means a fridge is now full of spoiled food in a temperature of 55 degrees - cost of spoiled food is $300. Then we have the $150 Part and don't even know the cost of the repair until part arrives. A previous reviewer also hit the nail on the head on poor design. You can't fill a water bottle (the kind you buy at the sporting goods store). Ice maker has been defective or there is an engineering design issue spilling ice all over the place. Press down lightly on the ice maker and you end up with 20 pieces - 10 in the glass - 10 on the floor. So very disappointed. It was a bargain but I blame the manufacturer.

We put an ice chute on the dispenser to direct ice into a glass more efficiently. This may prevent you from getting a water bottle all the way to the spout, but it helps with dispensing ice properly. It sounds like your ice dispenser may be jamming up. If this happens, occasionally shake the ice bin to loosen the cubes. ~Brandi
Didn't even last a year and a half
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well here I am the night before thanksgivings and my fridge went out with less than a year and a half of use. I could understand a bulb going out that soon but not a compressor or condenser. I should of went with my gut and went with kitchenaid or Samsung but went with fridgidaire to match the pre-existing appliances at the house. Very disappointed and would not recommend this product or brand unless you get a free extended warranty thrown in, but even then I wouldn't trust it lasting beyond that.

The memory board of this refrigerator goes out on a regular basis. Frigidaire repairman told us that this model is always on his repair list. Also, the fingerprint free exterior is a gimmick, it shows everything. Please consider another brand unless you like an up close and personal relationship with the repairman
